You gotta love that American Side. Woot!! They are fireballs. In your face type of people.
I can't wait to go over there watch coaches kick ass and ladies jumping on fences and calling our coaches out. This will be some fun.
The American Pasttime at its finest. American Spirit. Survival of the fittest. Just think some people would pay for this kind of banter.

Kenny I have to agree with you at the time I had a very good friend still on the BOD and he would let me know what was said mainly about me because that is what friends do. So if you want to know the truth here it is. I was to supposed to have embezzled money from the league and also I was to have supposed to have almost caused A/AE to go bankrupt. Also it was said by MR. Fartado that he would make sure I would not play in the league or he would make it misserible for me. The biggest joke was I had my house on the market for sale and one day my realtor calls my wife and said there was a lady in her office wanting to know if my house was being forclosed on. She was asked who she was and she stated she was from the little league board. I also called the president of the league and opened my house to the BOD's because I was to have all this baseball gear at my house at the expense of the league. No one took my invitation. Also I hear the other day that they wanted the team I did not want my son to play for because of reason that was discussed with one of the board members to draft him so I would not be involved in the league this year since I was voted down as a coach last year. Well surprise guys it is not happening Tyler is going to play for the DODGERS in the American side and once again good try. Mr. Fartado I do not know what your infactuation is with me but I have no problem talking face to face to resolve our issues. I do not need my friends calling people wanting to fight over things we disagree about we can talk like men. Like I said wanting to fight at my age is stupid and not worth the trouble we can talk like grown men and not high school kids. So if you guys can not take people disagreeing with what is the obvious I am sorry but it does not justify calling a grown man at home and trying to get him to meet at the park so that he can get his ass kicked. I agree with Kenny I would be willing to meet with the whole board and discuss these issues. What makes it worse than that is probably 60% of the kids in the league have been involved with myself, Chaney or Crash in some sort of fashion and we have never done anything but try and help these kids become better ball players. Little League is not about personal vendeta against the parents it is about making sure the kids remember this experience for a life time. Well now that I have spoken my peace I guess I can count on getting TP'd or egged, one of the two. If you would like to talk about these issues my name is Tony Murphy and I can be reached at 209-345-7946 feel free to call and disagree no problem.

Tony - This forum was begun for folks who like to talk about baseball. It has evolved into a place for more frank discussion of the problems facing some little leagues and I guess I'm OK with that. Adults don't fight to resolve problems unless they don't have the IQ or mental capacity to do anything else. I'm getting a little tired of the nonsense and thuggery going on.
I banned the poster MountainMike this morning for physically threatening another poster.

I agree Chris it is a shame people have to revert to these tactics. I feel if you come on here to personally threaten someone you should be banned from here and also little league. What happened to the good old days when people could disagree and still be friends and have fun discussing their differences.

For the record, American East managers and coaches get along great with one another and I consider them all my friends. The kids on the teams are friends with one another as well. We have no bad blood on the AE side. This is a great league as are the coaches, players and parents. I'm proud to be part of AE.

Kenny: The monkey said he had to retire from the hula-hoop because of a back injury, you will need to pick up the slack.
Murph: Is the phone ringing off the hook? BTW- with lil' Murph on the Dodgers they will be a threat, I'm glad he is playing after all. I heard Renshaw is coming back now that the Dodgers have some pitching.

I am glad Tyler will be a Dodger. Go get 'em kid. They wanted you to quit and you did not give them what they wanted. I would have someone record the games when you play the A's. No kidding. Craig is right, the American East is a great group of teams, coaches and people. The American side has two great teams in sportsmanship in the Orioles and Dodgers. It is not everyone that's the problem. It will be interesting to see what all the other league teams think when they play some of the American teams. Maybe they'll be on their best behavior. It's only a few that spoil it for all.
Mountain Mike, Allen, Pawn of John or whoever you are..... It is nice to know that you had such a clear view of third base from the first base side bleachers while our Phillie's parents who were right there, and myself on the field, at the time missed what you saw.
I am bad for youth sports? I encouraged students at my school to sign up for LL, even though my own kids are not playing. I am above letting adult problem's interfer with kids playing. My own kids always have the option to play somewhere. Like I have said to others, I do not blame or punish kids for having ignorant parents.
Your people, on the other hand, have attempted to keep Tony's kid, Dwanye's kid, and my kids out of the league. That's the biggest problem!
You must think that Tony and Dwanye are bad for youth sports too because of all the time and effort they put in over all the years?
Kenny, your comments mean a lot to me and I greatly appreciate you standing up for what's right. I have been wrong about things in the past and owe you and Michelle an apology.
I hope that all the players have a great year.
