Crash you take things to personal when people do not agree with the way you think things should be. I was refering to when I was involved in the league before there was certain things that were done and voted on that I felt were total BS. Then you do have coaches with the reputation of trying to manipulate the system for the better of their team and the hell with everybody else. Take for example this year I was accused of trying to stack a team with Duane and I did not even have anything to do with it. Duane had first pick and he told me he wanted Tyler and if I would help him coach and I said yes. We all know the rest of that story the board really showed Duane and I who was boss. HAHAHAH. People always tell me the guilty dog barks the loudest. Relax Craig you are a great coach and I respect everything you do for the baseball community of Turlock but just because we do not always agree does not mean the fingers are being pointed to you. I was just giving my opinion of the way it looked from an outsider and nothing else. Since I am not involved in the league, I will no longer give my opinions on how it looks or seems to an outsider but I still wish all the teams the best of luck. Hey by the way Crash I wish the Cubbies the best of luck also. HAHAHAHA

Maybe you should have left the City Championship the way it has been done for the past years. As Randy said no matter what format someone in here will have a gripe. That is just Turlcok Little League. To many people trying to run the program. Play each game as they fall and what happens happens. I think the wild card thing is a joke anyway. Just as it is in the big leagues. Win your division and then you play for the championship. Second place is and should be just that.

Too late, we have a tourney format this year and the deepest/best team will win, not just the team with the best pitcher. A one game championship doesn't proves anything. If a one game champioinship proved anything then the SF Giants would have been World Champions in 2002. Its going to be a great eight days no matter what the seeding format.

Hey by the way Crash I wish the Cubbies the best of luck also. HAHAHAHA The only thing I'd take personal is if you called my wife ugly... but then again I might just have to borrow your galsses to verify that you weren't right The the only thing I wish people would not do is assume that everyone is out to make their situation better and I think a lot of people are doing that with Chris and I. Somepeople have to ability too look past themselves and make decisions based on what's fair, not what's in it for them. I'd make the same argument whether I was in first, second or last place. Hell, the Cubs may not even make the play-offs... or we could be the AE winner next season - and if so I'd still say the winning percentage would be the way to seed teams in the city tournament (assuming everyone plays each other at least once, that way you have a way to measure things as fairly as possible... that's what I meant by "balanced" Greenie). If all teams have played each other at least once then winning percentage is the logical (fairest) way to go... seeding a team higher b/c they have the good fortune of being in a weak division makes no sense IMO - and I don't give a rip what any other league does. Every team has had a chance to show how they stack up against all the others so winning percentage is the best way to go. Then again logic rarely prevails in LL (see the mandatory 12 year old in majors decision if you fail to understand what I mean!).

Yeah - I hear it was a very nice shot. I'm so sorry Mrs. Greenie's brother is getting married when the Dodgers play the Giants in a couple of weeks. I just can't get over the disappointment. ;D
