Don't you mean assuming the Orioles and Dodgers win their leagues? I'm still liking the Sox.

It doesn't matter who wins their division. It's the right way.

Tony - I could give a rat's azz where the Cubs are - or if - they are seeded. The winning percentage places the teams where they belong based on MERIT. With the balanced schedule that we play that is the fairest way to go. To argue the division winner deserves it, just b/c that's the way it's done elsewhere, is inane. For any team to be placed higher than 3 or 4 other teams that beat them lacks logic...

I was asked by David to work on this with A/AE and present our recommendations to the BOD. If you noticed in my second post on this thread I stated subject to BOD approval.

You know Craig and Chris I could give a rats ass how this turns out, but it is the LL politics that will always screw everything up. The big question is who can get the best advantage for their team. So what the Orioles or the Red Sox do not have the better winning percentage they both fought as hard as your teams did to win their division. Just because they were successful at doing it and you guys were not they deserve to be seeded lower because you guys had a better winning percentage is BS. I have seen it in the past where division winners do not have a better winning percetage than some of the runner ups in other division but they do not cry about they still accept it and move on. The bottom line it sound like you guys are worried about someone having an easier 1st round game than yourselves. Like the old saying you have to beat some of the top teams to win it whether it be 1st round or 3rd round so why make such a big deal about it and give the division winners their props for winning their division. I am finished nothing more to say about the playoffs so now you guys can crusify me for my opinion. I wish all you guys the best of luck.

No - I wouldn't crucify you for your opinion. I do have an issue with you suggesting we're trying to take advantage or do something unscrupulous. You're wrong about the rationale. I continue to be amazed that you find it so easy to impugn our integrity.
You didn't responded to the posts we have made rather you just restated what you've said before. Did you even read how your suggested format (if things were to end today) would benefit both our teams? How can you then suggest that somehow we are suggesting this format for our own benefit.
That's just ridiculous.

You know I respect everyones ideas but here is the thing..........If you have an idea instead of a Bit** and want to be heard there are 2 board meetings this week that will approve a playoff format be there with your ideas.
