:-[we are done. our last tourny was Nov 11-12
we played 4 tournaments
1. Ceres Wood Bat, 2nd place (ran out of pitching as i had then on 60 pitch pitch-counts
2. Milpitas Wood Bat, took 1st place,
3. Hanford, took 1st place
4. Sacramento, went 1-2 we were missing our top 2 pitchers, we played like shit, #3 pitcher got blister on pitching hand 1st inning, #4 pitcher cut finger on pitching hand in 1st inning, 2 more starters were taking SAT's, all in all HORRIBLE Weekend
5. Davis HS Round Robin went 2-0 and were trailing 1-0 through 2.5 innings in third game cut short because of rain.
we had to stop mainly because i wanted the pitchers to rest up for about 3 months to be fresh for HS so coaches dont get mad and discourage my pitchers from playing next year.
one of my pitchers is just a junior and has already hit 90 MPH on several occasions!!! he has been offered by USC a full ride but it is unofficial as they cant officially do so until November of his SENIOR YEAR.
They asked him if he would be interested in taking his GED and skip his Senior Year of HS and go to college instead because his GPA is 4.50 and his SAT score was 1900 out of 2100.
and my best player is only a Junior that goes to Pitman HS and will be playing Shortstop
