I think it means the league will have to modify its ground rules to comply with whatever foolishness LL hands down. I don't know how many 11s there are in the minors this year. Someone will have to make that analysis soon and start preparing for next year.

If they draft all 12s won't that lessen the number of players at the AAA level and increase the number at the majors. With that in mind will they (TNLL board) drop a AAA team and then add a majors team? Or will the majors now be made up of 12s and 11s with some very good 10s playing AAA and less athletic 12s playing majors. This could lower the competitiveness of the majors and possibly raise the talent level of the AAA. Am I making any sense because I just confused myself

Your probably right Ron. I don't support the new rule but there are some more skilled 12 year olds in the minors who were bi-passed by coaches who chose to go younger. I do think the league should probably disallow the drafting of 9 yr olds in the future.

Makes perfect sense from a 49er. Actually it's a great question. Nobody knows what the #'s will be yet for next year. Adding a major team is probably going to happen if all 12's must play.

It is such a player by player descion if a 9 is ready to play majors. Some are and IMO some that get drafted are not. To be honest its hard not to compare them to the 12s, that is who they are competing against.
