"It's going to come down to the Yankee's and us. Plus we love the Fastballs so that gives us an edge! "
Good assessment from our UIC…………I like the match up’s between the two teams....

Good thing your in the national league where the boundaries are a little questionable. The american side is run too strict to let someone from outside the county play.

5-1..Where's the line to sign up? BTW~ Just think, if the kids could talk half as much smack as we do, how fun the league would be!!

I have yet to hear a cheer for N/South who just happen to play in City Championships last year. Might just be a kid or two who can play some ball………. I've never denigarted the "other" side... just standing up for AE b/c as no one else has made mention of us...except for the Bash Brothers . But that's OK I like to be the underdog The City Championship can often be won with one or two dominant pitchers. A team with a dominating pitcher can often defeat a team with more overall talent. I think all star teams are a better reflection of a leagues overall talent. Teams are more at "peer" level so pitching, often, is countered with more depth in th eopposing line-uip. We (Turlock) have ALOT of talent scattered throughout our little town.

I hear you regarding ZO and any of the kids folks consider prospects to make their various HS teams. I'm not getting into any pissing contests here guys. I'm excited about inter-league and let the smack talk begin.
However, I think any talk of who is going to dominate whom at the HS level is silly at this point. I don' know if Jens has any intention of playing HS ball. He loves to skate and he may want something different. I'll encourage him either way and I know you will with your own kids.
So, I'll enjoy reading all the back and forth about whether its going to be Pitman or THS. HS is 2-4 years away for most of the kids we probably agree have a good chance to play HS ball. We're talking HS ball before most of them have a single hair under their arms.
I hope we continue to do the best we can to prepare them for HS. I think the Rangers and the other local travel ball teams will help them tremendously.

Thank you for that insight professor, but I think we are just talking some smack here. I still believe the american east 11 year olds will dominate any team anywhere.
