So Keith you would rather the Yanks play TOC than the local Tourney? Must not feel to confident. Besides, I agree with Crash with the AE will be very well represented and AM and National will have decent representation. Perhaps NS will not. However, not worth debating as the ruling is in and done with.

ROCKO UR RIGHT THE DECISION IS ALREADY MADE. I DON'T SEE THE NATIONAL OR NATIONAL SOUTH GOING FAR IN T.O.C. JMO. AS FAR AS THE TOURNEY I THINK IT GOING TO BE A LOT OF FUN.

KEITH, I think the tourney will be awsome!!!!
However, with the way the bracketing is setup it puts a[glow=green,2,300]major[/glow]advantage on the team that wins the first three games. That team only plays Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and has a large leave until Finals on Saturday.
Every other team would play Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Given the pitching limitations this will place a most teams reaching the finals from the lower bracket in a disadvantage namely because most teams only have two pitchers. And, if you add a double header on top of this it will be nearly impossible to topple a team who has all there pitching staff available.
I will say it again if we started with a Saturday and Sunday kick off then both sides of the brackets could be well rested for a showdown on the the Saturday of Finals. Besides...the leagues can market that Saturday/Sunday weekend as a major event in Turlock!
Under this scenerio all games would be done by Wednesday allowing both sides of the bracket to be well rested for the finals. Again, I am not sure if the days are already in. If not, the BODs should look at this.

We're going to work on the bracketing more this weekend and see if it can be tweeked to improve the pitching situation for everyone. Honestly, we never looked at a Sunday scenerio. Maybe that could help. As it stands, the losers bracket would be playing Sat, Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs. & Sat (x2 if necessary).

If we are playing the Tourney in Julien, can you fit more than two games on a weekday?

I am not saying I am a fan of TOC Crash. And I think the city tournament is a great idea for Turlock. My point was more of sending a 3rd place team to a tournament when the league they come from has 3 teams and only one of them will finish above .500 . I wish all those participating much success.
