We ran into one of those 20 little details. Here's the question. Sold as a double elimination tourney, if the winners bracket team goes undefeated and reaches the championship game do we play a two games if they lose in the championship game?

Sure they do. In all of tournaments I been in, if the winner of losers bracket, beats the winners bracket, than they play the rubber match for the whole enchalata. Right?

I'll be watching, but if you guys screw it up I don't have my little green book handy but Chris seems to sleep with his ;D Does Little league allow double headers? We seem to have 2 options. 1. Play 2 on Saturday. 2. Come back Sunday or Monday for the final.

Jim, The major division will allow a double header... And it would be 2 games on the Championship Saturday We could start at 5 and if need be play at 7

The Tourney is schedule from June 9-16. Double elimination.
Each league champion will be seeded 1-4 based upon their winning percentage.
Each second place team will be seeded 5-8 based upon winning percentage.
Tie breakers
Head-to-head Runs allowed Runs scored Coin flip
# 1 seed plays # 8 seed, #2 seed plays #7 seed and so on . . .
All teams will play that first Saturday. Final game to be played at Julien.

LL allows a double header but I would lean towards Monday for the rubber game. There is a built in disadvantage for the losers bracket team and I think a double header would push that disadvantage well beyond fairness.

Why are we playing final game at Julien, that field is a mess, the right fielder was knee deep in that hole out there.
