Dawn,
There is someone in this town that DOESN'T like the Lewis clan? NOT POSSIBLE!!
I am not saying that the Giants didn't deserve a win--it was by far was not one of our "best" games! And then on top of that Giants played well---
I only know what has been passed along and apparently there have been some issues for a while! Who knows--I was not there for what happened in the past, but I can say that some of those strikes were pretty low.
Maybe Chris is right--cosmic?!?
You are loud--but not obnoxious! The boys need to know that people are cheering them on! I would expect you to speak your mind--we are alike in that regard! If we are thinking something, people tend to know it. Nothing wrong with that.
I always know that I will get the truth from you--you are going to tell me honestly what you think or how you feel about something. That is what I respect the most about you! I would rather be told the truth than what I want to hear. Although, Rob says when it comes to him, I want my own way! Truth be damned! (Shh! He might be right!) LMAO
Stacie

LOL! I'm sure there are more but let's not get a vote, okay? I would have thought the Giants/Dodgers game would have been much closer than it was. We had a great game and unfortunately it wasn't one of the Dodger best, didn't help that one of your best wasn't able to play. I'm sure it will be a great game next time around. I've seen some horrible calls in many sports. Umpires & referees are human and bound to make some bad calls but hey there wouldn't be anything to write about on the forum if everything was peachy keen and fine ;D

I just wish all these people that can see every close call perfectly from the stands would step up and umpire. we would have the best umpires in the USA. They would get every call right and both teams, fans and coaches would agree because they get it right every time. Is it just me or are all these perfect umpires also the same people who have never umpired.

I would make a fabulous umpire, I wear contacts and everything. I just don't have time ;D. Believe me, I've done my share of B******* about umps (like the one when my son hit the ball square off his foot and the catcher tagged him and the ump called him out) yikes that was a bad one. I just encouraged my son and told him that unfortunately that's what happens and not all calls will be fair or correct. But like I said, umps are human and bound to make a call that someone somewhere won't agree with.

Bubba, I know what a difficult job umping is. I don't think I have ever complained (except when Chris got me suspended a couple of years ago) about the men in blue(oh yeah a certain HR call last year). When you see a guy only wanting to work a certain team's games the alarm goes off. Then watch him make the calls like he did on kids of people he has problems with is wrong. There are plenty of games he could be working but he doesn't. Conspiracy, you bet.

There's nothing I hate more than a chickensh** coach, official, teacher, board member, or any other person in an authority position taking it out on the kids because they have a problem with parent/family. I don"t know who you're talking about and don't think I want to, but if its true that stinks. Hopefully he'll read some of this and realize he's really hurting the kids.
