i will have to back up what crash said.
and here is some personal experience.
when my brother played LL he batting .650 as an 11 YO and .580 as a 12 YO, he made AS both years as a starter, and went 6-1 on the mound his 12 YO year and averaged 9 Ks per game. he never had a no-hitter like the ACE on out team did but my brother did have 3-1 or 2 hitters.
those are outstanding numbers, does that make him a great pitcher? NO, he is now a junior and no longer pitches for his HS (Turlock) he is now strictly a middle infield starter.
does he still bat .600 like he did in LL? NO!
Freshmen ball he batter .410, JV he batted .395, in Travel he has averaged .285 over the past 2 season as a 16 yo and a 17 YO playing against 18s -------------
when my brother was in LL there were 2 pitchers (both in National) that threw super hard (Austin Keaton and Dominic enson), neither of them pitch anymore, Keaton pitches very little but not like he used to in LL, and enson became strictll an OFer before quiting baseball entirely.
that is why Crash is saying LL shouldnt be used as the measuring stick as to how good a kid will be at the next levels.
i think thats what he meant. hope i didnt put words in your mouth?

Ouch Chris, now I know why you didn't let Jensen play fall ball. Which by the way puts all this little league and travel ball to shame, lol. Did I mention that the Benchwarmers are 11 and 0. Not bad for the american league huh.

Chris, fall ball also has a MAJOR division which should have been explained to some of the parents. I guess some people think if your team is good its not instructional. BTW, its nice to see that hot wings can bring people together lol. I'd love to partake in that but we are going for number 12 tonight. Tell Jura that the Bears still stink!
