Thanks Scrapper I like it. Little Wicked thats a good thing right? Well at least its NOT little thong still laughing at that one. Is Chris called little thong because the thong looks little on his body or are you putting that nick name on his son. I hope you're not giving that to his son.

Sure it is a good thing. He had a wicked year this year, and should have some more coming. Plus, it will probably change when he gets to the majors. I 'm sure that someone will come up with something.
Two Stroke, That is funny. ;D

Speaking of Majors, I would love to hear some honest comments on this subject. 9 year olds that get drafted to majors, better to stay down a year at AAA level and get more at bats and more game time then work to move up as a 10. Or better to go for it knowing that as a 9 you're going to see alot a bench time.

Everything that I have heard and seen is that no matter what year they come up 9 or 10 bench time will play a factor. Since I have recently have gone through this, I can say that it has been a good experience bringing him up. We (little scrapper and I) had some issues in the beginning in terms what is needed at this level, but once he found his groove, it was much better.
I also think it depends on the kid. If mind had any hesitation of staying down, I would have kept him down, but he wanted it, so I moved him up.
I also think it depends on the coach. If the coach (which I think all the coaches in National are really good) they will cultivate the child since he has 4 years.
Playing time, In your case, there is no way little wicked could play at the AA level next year, he would kill someone. You figure on a AAA level all the teams are mixed up every year, from and so he will get probably 3-6 innings and anywhere between 2-4 at bats.
In the majors, he will get at least two innings and one at bat. But, if he is in a part of the game that is hot, he could get that extra at-bat. Plus he is on that team for the remainder of his LL career and that will allow him to build relationships with the older player and develop younger players as he gets older.
I think the most important is the maturity of the kid in your case little wicked is only 8, you should see big change of maturity between 8 and 9 and third to fourth grade. Kind of what I said earlier. That is my two cents worth. Hopefully it helps you out,
