Between him and some lady that kept screaming in my ear during football games no wonder I'm nut's. I keep hearing "Stay in his hip pocket" and can't get rid of it.

The only lady loud enough to be heard at PW Vikings games was me and I know that you are not referring to me

And by the way Jim, I don't remember saying "stay in his hip pocket". Doesn't matter what I said, there had to be a reason Drew had 19 touchdowns and over 2000 yards rushing last year. And I was videoing every game and was always in the same spot in the stands at home games so....if I was behind you every game it means that you sat in front of me not the other way around

It is nice to get to point these things out to your kid and talk about them afterward so they truly learn that playing this game is a blessing and priviledge to him and ones to follow. agreed

I have come into this late, but I think the Hot dogging or Show boating is a direct result of the parents in the stands. The next time you see a kid doing it, look towards the stands and see what their parents are doing. This year I have had only 3 real bad problems with parents. But they were so bad, and they were so toxic that they manage to almost ruin the teams they were on. How one set of parents can ruin a team of 12 sets of parents is beyond me, but they do. And the kids manage it also. It is like a toxic gas in the dugout. I have managed to get most of this under control but that is why a lot of these kids showboat. The parents they have do not understand the fact that baseball is about grace and life and showing class. And they don't want to learn.
