Something I thought I would throw out for discussion. This year there seems to be more show boats in little league more than I can remember in years past. What happen to winning with class and losing with class? SportsCenter

I don't know Mark there seems to be more in little league than in MLB. Running the bases with the number 1 sign up. Yelling like a little girl when a kid strikes out, throwing the glove when they miss a ball and last but not least crying or shaking their head or kicking dirt when things do not go their way on the mound. Just a few to mention that I have seen this year. On the bright side it really helps the kids not playing and on the outside watching how not to act. The kids watching get to see how disrespectful it is to the opponent and to the game. It is nice to get to point these things out to your kid and talk about them afterward so they truly learn that playing this game is a blessing and priviledge to him and ones to follow.

LOL - I actually thought this post was going to be about hot dogs. I was going to comment about how awful the hot dogs are at the two parks. Take it from a guy who knows hot dogs we gotta get better weiners. I used to suggest to folks that they bring the kids and have a cheap dinner at the park. Now I head to the taco truck and Richland. Any hoo, JMO. As for hot dogs on the field. I haven't seen too much of it at the Little League level with the exception of a few glaring examples. What I have seen is some behavior from players that should get them some long suspensions and a good whooping at home. Walking off the field during a game, trash talking about chin music and throwing things around has gotten really bad. I'm proud of the Giants kids. You won't see any hot dogs playing in our games. I think our parents would spread a little relish on their fannies if they pulled any of the crap we've seen on other teams. We have a saying, "Win with class and lose with grace." If you see us doing anything short of that I hope you rip us a new one on this forum.
