Godfather's Pizza, Tom, has the lease for the sports complex and for Pedretti. Bids need to be put in around Nov.-Dec. and the lease is year to year. THe bids are seperate for the two places, Godfather's just happens to have both.
You have to staff it every time it's open though and that is a lot of hours.
We will continue to provide our Fall Baseball League which is neither Little League nor Cal Ripken, but Baseball Player's Association. The league will continue to grow as we had 19 teams total our first year and have plans for 30 teams this fall season. We do have a private sector backer and we do utilize Pedretti.

Lance forgot to mention that the team I coached in the major division went 13-0. Sorry, I couldn't resist bragging one more time about ME ME ME. Lance did a great job with fall league and I even heard some parents remark that they wished he would do something as an alternative to LL. BTW- Lance did back down from the Benchwarmers challenge......we wanted to play the Raptors and he refused.LOL I think Art would be scared if he saw that Trevor and Michael live on the inside corner. He wouldn't be able to get the Raptors to crowd the plate with them. Plus Michael would probably drill big brother just for the hell of it. Give the Renegades 3 or 4 practices and we will be ready for the Raptors and Rangers (we still pitch at 50 feet of course). Set it up Lance.LOL

To answer Craig's question of the Modesto Bee ad, $500 for a 1/4 page each time you run it and that is the discount price, normally $1600 a run. So A/AE board is thinking about it for next week.

Is that a miss-print Temple? $500 for an ad, those people should be ashamed of themselves. Give me $500 and I'll have everyone in town up to speed. We could do what Little Ceasar's does with the motorized cart and a toga. Imagine Cumberland in that get up......o.k. maybe not.

Is that what this style is called? I put the hat on before I can even think about it. BTW- you are growing that mop out to accomplish what? Perhaps the David Cassidy look of the 70's you are so fond of. With all the gray hair coming in, one might think you are going for the frosted tip look. I see where you are going with this and if you think copying Tony and myself that it will translate to more victories than......you are headed in the right direction.BTW- Where the hell is Greenie? I checked to football forum to see if he was having withdrawals......nothing.

I'm still here. Just been a little busy lately. There have been some great comments about a sports complex. I'm hoping that since Scrapper has backed off bashing Crash he is busy working on the baseball complex in his spare time. Hows the background going? 13-0 in fall ball is a great accomplishment. You must of had all the studs that didn't play travel ball or football. It must be true that Lance set your team up for you .

ROTF: Background is going good.....at least I'm not wanted by the F.B.I. or the D.O.J. Now on to your fall ball statement, we did have some non-football playing studs on the team. I normally like to give the kids credit for such a feat but I'll have to take credit for this one. I was in a zone for 13 games Greenie, every move I made was perfect. I even gambled with inexperienced pitchers at times and still came out on top. Yes I know this sounds arrogant but when you know what your doing you do it. Crash is still trying to figure this out.....won't happen. The Renegades will have my word that we will throttle teams every chance we get. I believe that the best way to develope talent is to win.LOL (I'm eagerly awaiting Craig's response)

One more thing regarding fall ball. I told Lance that as long as he could get Trevor on my team that I would coach, I didn't request anybody else. I saw the coaches from the national side come in and demand to be kept together, Lance just did what they insisted and then turned around and gave me a kid with no experience at all (any sport). I took the left overs and built a fricken dynasty. I felt it was neccesary since one of the national coaches informed me that they would try and go easy on us. We let the other coaches grab the studs from the Thunder while I got one stud. At least I was told he was by his dad, I think the kid played 2 games and was late to both of them. Good thing he wasn't there all of the time, we may have devasted the other teams. So to truly answer your question, did Lance stack our team....no, I coached.LOL

Have you passed the psych evaluation yet? Cuz God only knows what fantasy world you're living in... You seem to make the most sense when your mouth is stuffed with wings! I'd like to see you coach the Renegades all by yourself. That would be a hoot. Lucky for you that Tony will be around. He's at least a half way decent coach Left to your own devices you'd have a meltdown before mid-season. Dunno how you're gonna handle the stress of a real job. You're having a hard time grasping reality after having been jobless for most of this decade! What's next for the Sheriff's Depart... skowering the streets for the homeless as recruits? If they take you, they can't be far behind!

Q-cumber: The date for the tri-tip fundraiser is the 24th not the 28th. Next, name the several boys that you consulted about going with the white jersey instead of the gray. So far Ryan is the only one who prefers that.BTW- the homeless would have a better chance of teaching at Denair than entering law enforcement, just look at your credentials. I don't know that you could get a job anywhere else(teaching). Sorry to hit below the belt but you had that coming.
Knees-me: Why would you go and insult Tony like that? I know you wish Zack was two years younger and could play for the Renegades. Maybe he could skip the Ranger practices and come out to ours, Tony and myself will have him raking the ball again.

Hey Butch, you just worry about your 'Gades team. I spoke to the Rangers when they were over at my house during Christmas vacation. Creds? Don't even go there, it'll only embarass you. I'll take the high road and not even respond.
