I guess we'll have the official announcements being made on the 15th. N/NS won't select until the 14th but I have begun hearing the A/AE results.
Its probably good to wait otherwise I know our side couldn't keep mum.

Who are the Managers/coaches at the various levels for A/AE?
Our managers/coaches haven't been approved yet but from what I hear pending approval is:
Ntnl 11-12: Me/Matt
Ntnl 11's: Omar wants to pass which would likely mean Gil
Ntnl 9/10s: Yet to be dtermined
NS 11/12s: Mike E. although I can't imagin why he wouldn't take the 9/10s.
NS 9/10s: Dennis

Bryan Thomas & Lee Marchant are coaching the American 12's All Stars. By the way, does anyone know when All Stars start? We need to plan a Red Sox Team Party and we planned a Disneyland trip in July. Debbie Thomas Team Mom

Yepee! We're heading to Disneyland in early August. I'm guessing things will start the weekend of June 30-July1 then there is the obligatory 4th of July break.

I'm sure the coach will call ASAP on the 15th. I'll post the teams as soon as I receive them.

Hey! I think the coaching staff for the AS Teams should strut a the same uniform that players are asked to put on for the the NSouth and National All Stars Teams. ;D The summer season wardrobe of Nice warm vest over a shirts and you gotta luv the stripe pants. ;D ;D ;D

Your right Keith,
This will help some coaches more than others.

LOL! Thanks goodness LL doesn't allow coaches to wear uniforms.
I hope next year the N/NS BOD decides to burn the vests and pants. Times have changed. Our AS uniforms are analogous to wearing a powder blue tux to the prom. I'm just glad uniforms don't win games; ball players win ball games.

Guys, you know back in October and November, when the decisions were being made about uniforms, it would of been nice to know how you felt about the flippin' vests and pants. I also am not a strong fan of the vests, and I could care less about the pants one way or the other. But we need to know this stuff when we are going to bid, not now. This is not the decision of one person, but of the Board. Of course that would have required some consistent attendance at board meetings and bringing in opinions of the managers and players and stuff would help also. Let's try to think of a posititve way to change from the vests to another style without costing an arm and a leg and help us do it in such a way that is is fair to all. Don't just sit back and Hottie. MEL

I think a two button t-shirt jersey that the kids can keep - if done right... or a nice jersey the kids can keep - is best. They wear them with pride for months or years after... and it's good PR for the leagues. I still see kids wearing the jerseys we gave them three years ago. The cost a little more but look at the mileage the kids have got out of them. The ones that made all stars the next seson could ahve even wore them again.
