It all depends on how fast we can get those DUIs expunged Scrapper. You should make it though.

Okay Dave, I highly doubt you need to worry. Michael has proved himself this year, he deserves to be on the all stars. It's the kids that are "on the fence" and could go one way or the other whose parents have to worry

I agree with Crash. Mel...I was just having fun on the forum. I am fully aware of decision being delayed and Tony has done a great job for the N and NS side over the years. LOL

I like the idea of the two button. Just a reminder of the past. I don't think even Craig is old enough for this. Tony wore wool uniforms for both regular and All Star season. I know because I have them. The scary thing is that he played in AS in 1958 and when we started volunteering in 1979 as parents, those wool AS uniforms were still around. That is how I managed to get my hands on one that he wore in AS. My mother in law had his team picture so I found his number and was able to find his uniform. There were no more pants, but the shirt was available. We had a "garage sale" of all the old uniforms and mismatched hats, pants and other clothing items that had been in storage for years at the following years registration. We used to have sign ups at the War Memorial, remember Coop? So we sold all the old and no longer usable things there. I bought a uniform to keep, but in the years since, the moths have enjoyed it far more then we did. So I try to imagine what it was like playing baseball in the valley in its 100 degree heat in wool uniforms.
That is when the BOD decided to start letting the players keep their shirts each year. Not pants, we weren't there yet, but shirts. We started having fund raisers that brought in a lot more money then the french toast breakfast, didn't taste as good, but raised a lot more money. And we started charging the players a fee to cover the shirt, hat and insurance.
The good old days. Lot less rules, lot less headaches, but lot less law suits also. There was a lot more common sense, and a lot more parent involvement. But then both parents didn't have to work and things just seemed to move slower. (No Comment about if I moved any slower I would be stopped there Greenie, I can hear you now! LOL )
Thanks guys, and to all the AS BEAT RIVERPARK !!! If you haven't figured it out yet, I really want a Turlock team to beat Riverpark.
