Davina, the A/E still has a Yankee team. Justin would fit right in over there. I could tell Potter that it's a package deal.....he gets Eggleston as his assistant.
I agree that LL has to make some drastic changes to move forward. No matter what changes are made we will have people that are unhappy. The funny thing is that alot of people on the A/AE would love to throw the teams back.

If parent members attend the January 3rd meeting, will they actually have a say in this re-draft issue or will that even been discussed? Wait I'll be in TN but I can send Joe ;D I've been too busy with football season to even get on this forum until last week and all I have to say is WOW. Some on here are very passionate about their decision and others are obviously not happy with being voted out. One should not be reprimanded for not liking a decision that was made, whether they are a coach, manager or parent. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and threats or bashing should not happen to anyone even if they are not the most liked person. It's one thing to joke with someone with an LOL or whatever but to talk to someone the way some of you have is not appropriate or called for. Not everyone is going to agree with everything and this should be a place to post your opinions and thoughts without someone jumping down your throat. Like I said in another post, I am disappointed that this has to happen. We were looking forward to Drew's 12 year old year and his 3rd with the Giants. We will miss the Giants and the Hanhams and other families we've gotten to know through the years. My ultimate goal as a mother is to make sure my son has a good experience with baseball. I'm not happy with the decision but I will support my son and get him ready for the draft so he is looked at as a kid with a passion for baseball and one who will be an asset to any team he is drafted by whether it's the Giants or not. Greenie, baseball is so NOT like football

WOW........The A/AE is really sounding good this year......I guess BS just goes from league to league hahahahhah You know Little League has several options when adding teams by the book!!!!! and as none will work for everyone you take the option that would disrupt the least amount of kids. As Ralph would say READ the GREEN Book....

Thanks for the update Scrapper on the meeting date.
Love to have more parents involved.
Giants Mom. First....Vikings Rule!!!!! (Lil Rocko had a blast a learned a lot from Drew this year. I am telling you watching the highlights from the start to the end helped. And, I know Lil Rocko had several conversations on running the ball)
Back to Baseball. I am not sure how the process will go, but I would imagine parents would be given a time to address concerns or support for the previous vote. The BOD's goal is helping keep parity. Up until now the options are
[glow=red,2,300]
1) Do not Worry about Parity and Do nothing sucking all the twelves to a maximum number. You hurt the expansion teams big time as Giants, Dodgers, Dbacks, Braves walk all over the league.
2) Redraft for parity creating issues with teams that have been playing together. Maintaining Manager and Coaches Rights (Coaches defined as coached for the team last year and child played in league last two years). There were variations here that were discussed.
3) Returning Teams give up picks for Parity through the 4 round. Provides an opportunity for Expansion teams to build a crop of good players. No one was interested last meeting.
4) (Craig's Recent Post) Redraft for Parity: Include all players in the draft process no coaches rights. I would imagine manager rights.[/glow]
Again, the more parent points the better on this subject.
Also, I would hope as adults we can temper individual allegations and address the points at hand.

For the record, I am not infavor of option 1 which would who have been the likely scenerio with no other options gaining any support at the last meeting. Leaving the situation the same if we expand to this size is irresponsible.

(Lil Rocko had a blast a learned a lot from Drew this year. I am telling you watching the highlights from the start to the end helped. And, I know Lil Rocko had several conversations on running the ball) Wow, that is quite an honor coming from the MVP of the team. Drew hopes to be the 3 back next year like Andy this year but may need a little more size. This year was a long season with more bench time than he would have liked but he knew coming in that the talent of the 2nd year guys was great. I will try to see if I can convince Joe to go to the meeting in January as I'll be out of state. You know how it goes though, someone will always not like the decision made. Hopefully with more parent input there will be a happy medium and somehow a somewhat happy ending

Dawn,
A little size always helps. But, the O Line determines the 3Back success. Just look at Drew behind are starting line. All big runs! In any case JV should look to content for the Title again next year.
So is Drew swinging the bat yet? Or is he wrestling?

It would be nice to 3-peat next year for Drew. We'll see how the coaching works out where he'll play. I'm ready for the break from football though (wow, a whole 3 weeks)!! He will start wrestling the first week of January. He's not swinging the bat yet but we'll have him in fine shape for the draft

It's official.....all of the b.s. about LL has started to effect the kids. I just heard one of the better players has started taking dance lessons at Debra Morgan's studio. I will say that he is a talented 11 year old this year. I always thought travel ball and football would compete with LL, not dancing. The BOD had better right the ship or we could see losing more kids to other activities.
