the uniforms for this year are very cool looking, on two of the jerseys the letters and numbers are raised, which stand out very nice. And not to mention going old school with stirrups. Kudos to the designer:)

Kudos my azz! Cumberland is responsible for those god forsaken barber pole stirrups. They sucked back in the 60's and 70's.
Bomber: No need to suck up to the coaches here....do it behind closed doors. BTW-your kid is pretty good on his own, no need to compromise yourself.
Crash-go figure, two years after you leave L.L. they take your advice.

Nah, if it were up to me I'd go with the high stirrups of the 70s:

Did the same guy pick these unis? How do you put a pitcher as good as Tyler in a Chevron hat and socks stolen from a pirate? Shoot even Murphy found better jersies (nah no jersies were ever as ugly as the one Tony bought for LL).

The stirrup socks should have been outlawed as well.

Besides the stirrups, I wonder how they got the 1985-86 THS alumni to give back the old school jersey's they wore. (I think they were ten years old when they wore them) I like the white jersey but it has the navy blue in it and they will be wearing royal blue hats. As long as they win, who cares if they match.

When I wanted something new as a kid my dad always said, "Always be better than your equipment." I use to think that was rather profound but now I know it was just my Father being cheap.
So THS - Always be better than your equipment!
