I like to watch a good baseball flick about this time of year to prime me for the season. If you haven't seen For Love of the Game with Kevin Costner it's worth the watch. Trivia question: What are the three other movies where he played as a baseball player? No cheating (can't use Google!) Winner gets a season pass to THS league baseball games! What's your vote for best baseball movie of all time?

No need to be sorry that was a great comedy! Any movie with Renee Russo can't be that bad Tin Cup was a riot...

Crash "Davis" Cumberland......again with the Bro-mancing. It's a good thing you don't have the hots for Jimmy Fallon or you would say Fever Pitch was the greatest baseball movie ever made. I personally never get tired of the original Bad News Bears. BTW- Crash, you never made it to the "Show" so the fungus on your shower shoes means your a slob! Plus the baseball public didn't need to know Kevin Costner "Primes" you for the season.
Let the games begin!

Huckleberry... The fact that you know what Bro-mancing is says volumes. I doubt many guys do. Enlighten us will ya? What do they call your "type"? Metrosexual? Enjoy your martini and pedicure...

WOW! I didn't mean to take you out of your "Prime" state. I would assume bro-mancing is when one male has taken a liking to another male (and or his body of work), some might even call it a crush.
As for me.....never drank a martini or had a pedicure, so me being a metrosexual is a no. I drink beer, chew tobacco, use offensive language, pick my nose and burp way too much. Some might consider me a pig. Since we are being forthcoming as to who we fancy....I'll disclose my favorite cougar.....Demi Moore.

Perhaps, but since you started the topic:
Besides The Bad News Bears (original) 2. Cobb 3. The Natural 4. Eight Men Out 5. The Fan
Football: 1. Rudy 2. Brian's Song 3. The Longest Yard 4. The Best of Times 5. Waterboy
Golf: 1. Caddyshack 2. Happy Gilmore 3. Dead Solid Perfect 4. The Legend of Bagger Vance 5. Tin Cup
Basketball: 1. Hoosiers 2. Blue Chips 3. White Men Can't Jump 4. Coach Carter 5. Semi-Pro
Hockey: 1. Slapshot
Nascar: 1. Talladega Nights
Boxing: 1. Raging Bull 2. Rocky (original)
Just in case you need a good "Prime" when it's not baseball season.

Mikey... How can you not have Bull Durham or Field of Dreams on your list??? And the Fan??? WTF??? But your 2 - 4 aren't bad. I'd have rated Tin Cup higher - and Bagger Vance. NASCAR? How can you leave out Days of Thunder? And football??? All the Right Moves??? And c'mon - League of Their Own? ? Tom Hanks was a riot. OK, have I gave you enough ammo?

A League of Their Own=Crap and of course you'd want Tin Cup on top=Kevin Costner. I'll give you All the Right Moves......if DelaMotte doesn't win this year some "Townies" might go Ampipe on his azz. As for Days of Thunder....Tom Cruise just didn't convince me he could make left hand turns like a pro, plus the script became somewhat muttled towards the middle and the ending was way too predictable.
