Your absolutely right Crash.
And, I really feel this coming year we have a group of involved and caring BOD, Managers, Coaches, and Parents. The nine planets seemed aligned for great Little League improvements in our local community. Whooops....I mean eight planets plus a few soon to be hundreds of dwarf planets. ;D

Yea, Crash It takes someone like me who is anal about following the rules. I guess in the 27 years past, and now starting my 28 year with Little League, I see the advantage of following the rules, especially where we intersect with other leagues and entiitys. I think the worst thing I had ever heard of was the year that the Girls team from the bay area was not allowed to play at Division level because there was a mess up by their District Administrator. Their DA did not understand the rules about the proof of address, and when they got to Division, that DA understood it a different way. He enforced it and they didn't get to play. And don't get me started on the stupid proof of address stuff. That is another dumb rule.

i love baseball!!!!
i love going out of town, playing games all weekend, winning trophies, visiting the towns, coming back home and practicing for 4 days, then going out of town to play ball again.
i love the idea of not having to worry about proof of adress or any of that other petty stuff.
simply getting the best group of kids possible to form a team and PLAYING is the important thing to me.
the good thing is that for every1 else there is Little League.
hopefully this year has a great group of LL Directors, from the words spoken here the past few months it seems likely. GL TNLL and TNSLL 20007

Yes, thanks Craig. It is the reason. Tony and I were contacted by a player from another district and league. I guess last year when they signed her up for Little League softball, they put her into the wrong league. Well of course when All Stars came along, it was found out, and she was not allowed to play. She saw this board and contacted Tony and I because she is still upset in October, and her parents wanted to know if they could sue last years league since she missed out on an chance to play AS. I guess the league went really far, and this girl felt that she was "intentionally" left off. It is a mess, but just by being careful and by watching the little things, this eleven year old girl would not have such a bad memory. Also, good news, the insurance has paid off for my player. I am never so relieved until they do. I think it has to go with not trusting insurance.
Do you remember one time when Denair School insurance had to pay for a player who had his shoulder dislocated at a football game? Just thought I would remind you of that long ago time, because his son is now a Jr. at Pitman. Make you feel old? Imagine how Tony and I feel LOL
