I'm thinking tgrkikr needs to post something here. He probably knows more about Pitman sports than anyone around.
Most of Pitman Juniors didnt hit their weight in 2009 so unless the sophmores who are pulled up produce right away its unlikely Pitman will have much offense. However, Baldwin, Derr, Olsen, Lewis should add some pop.
The middle should be solid with Risley returning and there seems to be plenty of infield talent. Olsen should track anything down in center. I think Kha should be pulled up to add depth at catcher. Gianesin should do a good job at 1B.
Pitching? I think they'll have to bring Souza-Johnson up.
I thinks its going to be a tough year but Pitman's story will be written in 2011-2012.

Chris, you left out the Walker's, Breshears, Abuan and A-Rod. If you put this group with the kids you named.........I'm still seeing second place, but I've been wrong before. The THS/Pitman baseball game should draw as many people as the football game.BTW- THS varsity football team sucks.

TGRKIKR doesn't know crap. The only one he may know anything about is on the shelf. Probably won't be throwing until December. May have to go left handed...never know.

LOL Coach - Humility isn't allowed on this forum just ask Cumberland or Chaney. Right or left I'm sure he'll make an impact. The kid doesn't deserve such a nagging series of injuries. Hope all goes well with rehab.

AJ has had his share of injuries and played through most of them. I'd take AJ at 50% over most kids at a 100%. At least he didn't get hurt riding a skateboard or goofing off. Not that riding a skateboard is a bad thing......so save the comments Chris and Craig.

Brett finally fell on his head while skating and was concussed back into a love for baseball. I've been told that while lying unconscious Craig whispered over and over and over, "skaters sux...I want to play baseball."
