THS varsity beat Lodi 7-4 (I think) and the j.v gave one up to Sonora 3-2. I think they went 8 innings and the pitcher couldn't find the strike zone, due to darkness.

That's your best comeback Sh!t Stick? I thought you were showing signs of improvement but I guess you still need more work. We on the forum need more than, bury the shoulder, take a knee, go oppo and my favorite....throw the hands kid. You need new material. I will give you credit for showing restraint and not humping the coaches legs at practice.

Why do you abuse Mark like that? Really Chaney, you're pathetic. So I understand the inmates abuse you all night and day and even with your gun you don't have the chutzpah to dish it back so you have to let your hostilities fly on the forum. Why don't you take your wife out on a date with all this free time? What's the matter, your hand cuffs don't work at home either? You can't even realate to a dog humping somone's leg you emasculated basturd. BTW, the DA called - they found your balls back at the Academy...

Oakdale beat Pitman Freshman 10-4. Placido started and threw well but there were a lot of errors behind him. Many of the regulars didn't play at all. Placido went two full and Jens replaced him with no outs and runners at 2nd and 3rd third. BTW - Many of Placido's runs were unearned. Jens pitched the next 4 giving up an earned run and two unearned in the 3rd but held them scoreless in 4, 5 and 6.
The boys continue to struggle with hitting and we have seen so many different defensive and offensive lineups I have no idea how good we really are. So far the kids I have talked to really like Moreno and Day. We were told clearly that every kid would get an opportunity to start during the tournament. Its a different approach and we'll see if it pays off down the road. Its just a little tough watching some of your best players sit. Its a good life lesson though.

Are the THS freshman at home today and when do they play? The Pitman freshman are off until tomorrow and I'd like to see the game.

Fact or fiction? Possibly as early as next year Turlock and Pitman eliminate all freshman sports programs. Due to budget cuts in the district.

Mike - Great topic. I think we should start this in a new thread.

Its just a little tough watching some of your best players sit. Its a good life lesson though. its a good thing for the "program" when almost all kids get near equal playing time at the Frosh and to a certain extent at the JV levels.............it will take some time getting used to but the it serves the big picture.....and then come Varsity..............its the best 9 every game........

i know.....we were lucky.......serg only sat out maybe 5 games all of frosh and jv.......even in the games he didnt hit, he pitched....and in the games he didnt play SS he still DH'ed..............i want to say maybe 1 or 2 kids will get starts 90% of the time......everyone else will get equal opps

I heard Varsity is home for the dogs and are playiong Oakdale. Heard there is a stud on the Oakdale team- worth checking out.
Freshman program being eliminated? Not a god thing. Too many kids look forward to playing sports in HS and for some the freshman level may be alll they'll see.
I guess if they attend THS all they have to do is be a teacher, or a coach, or a prominent member of our community. I know I have to stop before I make someone cry.
