Yep, knew that. I'm just surprised they are not recruiting more players, times must be tough for CC if they can't field a competitive JV team... but that doesn't explain the coaching decisions or lack thereof. CC fields a competitive team for D5............but ya, i agree they definatly arent as deep as they were just a few years ago.......5 years back they had freshmen Stueve, Ramos, Burkett, and Trinkler on the JV team because their Varsity team was pretty deep..........in todays CC they would be the stars of the Varsity team

Well I see no traffic this weekend. Glad to see I didn't miss out on anything while I was at the coast. Well league starts this week-are we ready? All palyers in place and and ready to play ball. This is going to be a great week-good weather and good baseball. What are the predictins for the season now? THS JV and Varsity second place-freshman to take it all. Pitman JV and Varsity third place and freshman second.
By the way- I like the picture. Pat of SNL? Hummm....Pat, Pat, Patricia, Patrick, Patrick, Patrick..............(SpongeBob)

All I will predict is a JV split and THS will be lucky to split with Pitman on the freshman level.

So Spanky- you think Pitman can savage over THS freshman?

I didn't say savage. I have seen both teams play and both looked good. Has THS played anyone tough yet? The loss of Cumberland probably helped Pit a lot.

JK- THS freshman lost to Lodi on Friday. THS has some solid players, so they should be fine. They did loose Johnny Padilla and Kyle Hatcher last week-they quit. Two very big kids-don't know much about their ability, but I recall Kyle was a descent LL player who could hit the ball hard.

After beating Golden Valley like a mule I'd say Pit's prospects against Turlock are improving. Then again THS beat BC so I guess we're back to start.

It's nice to see the kids that are playing up are getting the job done. I heard Sousa-Johnson threw great, BabyCrash hit good and will throw Friday and Kramer went deep against Buhach. Watching Maureen wrestle the ball away from a little old man wearing a Pitman hat was classic.
