Merry Christmas everybody. Hopefully all of you old timers will be around the LL fields this year. The leagues should be pretty competitive. Good luck to all of your sons in HS and TravelBall. Craig, make sure Ryan is working that left hand. Rod, Make sure Nick is working on that drop step to hole.

Goofy kid shoots pool and kicks left-handed - so as Yogi Berra would say, "he's amphibious!" If Turlock and Pitman both win their games Saturday they'll clash for the first time Monday at 3:00 in Modesto at the Davis Tournament...

No worries Craig - At least there is a chance that Brett will choose to play a real sport.

I was there - he rarely missed and was dropping bombs from way behind the 3-point line. Reeves Nelson is a tour de force. 6'8" and built like an NFL linebacker. He dunks effortlessly and is a great ball handler too. The Etiwanda team put on a dunk show before their game, all but about 2 of 'em could dunk. Their bench is better than most teams starters. Taft of Woodland Hills was incredible too and most of their team could dunk. All three games I saw were incredible. If you're bored check it out. There were more oohs and awhs than at the Bunny Ranch!

Well, the Turlock freshmen stunk it up today, losing to Oakdale, so the Pitman/Turlock clash will have to wait 'til league. Pitman easily handled Ripon... Anyone than can dribble a basketball in that town must go to RC! lol

RC is or has been in the past like a mini-me version of MC Basketball or CC Football (recruit and stomp on small schools)

Pretty much true of all private schools... They should have their own league. CC's run through the southern league in the 90s was a joke, there's no glory in beating teams 72 - 6. IMO all their titles are meaningless. I'd like to see what all these "great" coaches could do at public schools.
