I definately think the runner should have been safe with a no call. What do you think?

Safe without a doubt. The runner began his slide. The throw took the catcher up the line. It was incidental contact... tho we have the ability to play it over to see all the particulars. At first look it seemed more malicious than what it did in replays... I don't know why the catcher allowed himself to go into foul territory to try to make the catch. He could have stayed in fair territory and jumped for the ball just as easily. He should have know there might be contact with the runner... Baseball ain't for sissies With the new hockey-style mask there's no need to even take it off - this way you're protected if you go down...

yeah - I think the narrator added a bit to the drama but the catcher seemed to jump right in front of the runner as he started his slide. Your right its kind of weird that on first glance it looks more malicious. I love the guy who says, "Hey hes a catcher too remember that." huh?!

Look again, he was sliding and his hands were in the air like they should be. I didn't see him trying to initiate contact at all. He was sliding directly toward the plate. I'd be more upset with my catcher if he were mine... But we all see things differently. It was a good clean baseball play in my book.

I would toss him. The runner saw the catcher, he slid late, looks like he hit the catcher high with his hip and chest. Not sure what level this is but for sure anything 16u and under he would be tossed. If they are 18u and older than it is questionable and it depends.
The fans need to be calmed and the guy who dropped the 'f' bomb is gone too.
Been there, done that a few times....
