ok, guys. this is for all the people that think their sons will throw 90+ when they are frosh. get out and see a local HS game i guarantee this game will impress yall
dont worry Melody i wont be there to scare or bite you...............lol
Buhach Colony (best team in the area IMO and ranked #8 in the State by CalHi Sports) will play Pitman @ Pitman today at 4:00
pitching matchup will be Brett Mooneyham for Buhach, a 6'6 200 lb Lefty that has touched 95 MPH a couple weeks ago. expect him to be throwing 93-95 if hes sharp, 90 MPH if he is wild and slows it down. this kid is likely to be a VERY HIGH DRAFT PICK.
he will be facing Nathan Gonzalez from Pitman who was clocked at 91 MPH 2 weeks ago against GV at Merced college by a Cincinati Reds Scout.............Nathan usually sits 87-90 but can reach back and throw 90+ when need be.............
as for me ide love to go watch that game BUT we face GV @ GV and Cesar is throwing (85-88 MPH and has reached back to 92 a few times) so ill report back ASAP the final scores
GL to both Turlock Teams, God knows they are going to need it..............

A QUOTE I PICKED UP FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE DEALING WITH HS BASEBALL
"Arguably the best pitching match-up this year: Mooneyham vs. Gonzalez today. Has potential to be a great game."

watching a high school game = same as practice.
breaking down plays with kids and asking them high order questions about situations and/or certain plays.................
