THE TURLOCK THUNDER PLAYED IN THE BPA CLASSIC THIS WEEKEND. THE THUNDER WENT 0-2 ON SATURDAY GETTING THEIR BUTTS KICKED IN BOTH GAMES BY THE ROCKERS AND RIVER PARK. ENTERING SUNDAY THE THUNDER WERE THE 6TH SEED AND FACING AN UPHILL BATTLE TO GET INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. IN THE FIRST GAME ON SUNDAY THEY FACED THE CCC ROCKERS, WHOM THEY HAVE NEVER BEATEN, AND JUMPED ALL OVER THEM AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. NEXT THEY PLAYED THE HANFORD DEUCE, WINNING THEIR 2ND GAME IN A ROW. THIS SET A SHOWDOWN WITH RIVER PARK AND THEIR FLAME THROWER. THE THUNDER NEVER GOT INTIMIDATED AND JUMPED OUT TO A EARLY LEAD. SOLID PITCHING AND DEFENSE MADE THE LEAD HOLD UP AND THEY BROUGHT HOME THE VICTORY. WAY TO GO THUNDER!!
