Crash, it's nice to see you and Leanna doing something besides baseball. Of course I have some advice for you though, why don't you and her go by yourselves........is it that your cheap or you'll get lost and need the bus driver to get you there. It is really good to have you back, it's always more fun when someone returns my serve. Kenny tried but swung and missed all day.

Worst names:(already taken) 1st-Raptors 2nd-Scorpions? 3rd-TABU 4th-Garcia's Knockout Boxing B.S. 5th-Pride
Best names: (already taken) 1st-Murderers Row 2nd-Gashouse Gang 3rd-Who's Next? 4th-Bulldogs 5th-Frozen Ropes
Now let's get back on track. In selecting a name you must be very careful, other kids can be very cruel and make fun of the name and take your team out of the game before you play. For instance, I've heard other teams refer to the Rangers as the "Rump Rangers" and the Backyard Boyz as the "Backdoor Boyz". This must be taken into consideration for a new name, although it is juvenile, remember these are kids. I also believe that the color scheme is important, now Craig got the colors right but still found a way to screw that up. The socks should match the belt, the kids look like barber poles out there. I know Lance is chuckling right now but you too wasted parents hard earned money with bad names and uniforms that would only be appreciated at a Mardi Gras parade. So lets be serious for a second okay.

Craig, take a look around at all the teams (not just the dodgers). They seem to all have a clue when it comes to color coordination. I didn't realize until now that as a child you probably wore stripes with polk-a-dots and a black belt with brown shoes. You must have gotten teased as a child, for that I'm sorry. It's not too late to learn to change your ways.
Lance, better luck this weekend 'cause you have taken a beating this week. BTW- tell Ernie I was right, you guys got the Rangers and Yankees. How did I know? call it a gift. LOL
Kenny 'ol pal, we are friends. You are still in "A" ball when it comes to throwing the occasional jab. Get used to long bus rides in the minors, some day you may get the call to the show but until then just follow Crash Cumberland's advice, clean shower shoes and never hit someone with your pitching hand.hehehehe

It's not too late to learn to change your ways. As you can tell by the way I (still) dress I've never put much thought into my wardrobe. Jeans & t-shirts always worked for me. Fortuantely I grew up in an era where that was en vogue. I'm not the fashion plate you are... You do have to give me this much - despite the red belt, the uniforms I put together are a helluva lot better than the vast majority. I actually haven't seen another team's that I'd take over ours. So pipe down and consider yourself lucky - I had thought about going so far as having the elastic three-color waste band added to the pants but didn't want to delve that far back into the 70s. Just an FYI... Our Saturday whites are patterened after the 72 - 74 Rangers home unis, our Sunday greys after the Braves road unis of the late 70s, and the championship blue jersey after the 1984 Rangers alernate jersey... Yeah, all those teams sucked but at least they looked good!

I should be grateful that you were not fond of the 70's Padres or early 80's Astros. My lord you are a throw-back Crash. More times than not teams evolve with the current trends and sometimes the turn back the clock days are fun for the fans but for pete's sake what's next, four fingered gloves and wood bats? I know you are stuck in the 70's but if you don't come to grips with today's generation you will not be competitive at the level you dream of. As far as elastic waistbands, well that might work for you "Farley" but the kids deserve better. Look like a champion-play like a champion. Stirrups and Puma's are your generation. I for one would like to see these kids looking like ball players not a bunch of geeks at a fantasy camp. I know I can help you turn this pattern around all you have to do is ask. Oops, the wood bats are already in your repitoire, I know they are good training tools so save the come back Zimm.

My daddy use to tell me, "Always be better than your equipment." I guess that applies to uniforms too. I couldn't give a rip what are unis look like. I just wish we'd win more games.
