I want to wish all the local boys good luck this weekend. The Thunder will be playing their first tourney of the year out at Pedretti and the Rangers will be in Redding at BLD. Lil Murph will be playing with Nor Cal Grizzlies in the 11u Major Nit tournament in Riverside Ca at the BLD park this weekend. I want to wish all of our boys the best of luck and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I hope all the teams bring home the gold so that way it proves Turlock does have a lot of talent in our little town.

Thanks Murph dog..........If we can keep crash off the sauce, I think it will be a good trip to Redding. We will be facing two teams from Washington. And, one from Oregon, and Nevada as well. Looks like some good competition ;D Good luck in Riverside.

Lil Murph and the Nor Cal Grizzlies went to Riverside ,Ca and showed southern Ca. teams we can compete with them as well. The Grizzlies went 6-0 on the way to winning the 35 team event 11u Major division. They started Saturday off against the number 1 ranked team in Arizona the Desert Firebirds from Scottsdale Arizona with a 7-2 victory. The second game was against the Blue Wave from San Diego in which they won 10-0. They started Sunday off against a very good Nevada Wildcats team in which they battled from start to finish. Lil Murph came in with the score 3-2 in the top of the 6th with the tieing run on second and one out. The first batter hit a grounder to SS which he bobbled so they had runners 1st and 2nd with one out with leadoff batter coming up Lil Murph struck out the leadoff batter and got the next batter to bounce back to him for the 3-2 victory. The next game was against a very good Palm Desert Torros in which the Griizzlies would take 6-2.
The Grizzlies would finish pool play the number 1 seed with only top 5 qualifying for playoffs. They would open semi finals against the Placentia Mustangs in which would finish with a 11-3 victory. The Championship game would be against one of the top teams in Southern California the So. Cal. Bruins which would be a very hard fought game in which the score would remain 0-0 for the first four innings. The Grizzlies broke through in the bottom of the fourth with 2 runs. Lil Murph was called upon again in the top of 5th to come in and close it out and he did with not giving up any runs in the final 2 innings as the 6 hour ride home would be worth it all after a successful tournament. The Grizzlies will be going to Omaha Nebraska in June and finish their season out in July with a trip to the Elite 24 in Orlando Fla.

If we can keep crash off the sauce, I think it will be a good trip to Redding. OK, Kneez, just for you I order the 22-ounce Porterhouse instead of the ribs. I left with no sauce on me. Thanks for the tip. Guess I'll have to pass it along to my son. In between games Ryan stuffed a hot dog down his pie hole and got ketchup all over his white jersey. What a slob. Too many years of watching Dad I guess...
