The Rangers were the # 2 seed going into Sunday's single elimination play-offs (thanks to a 2 - 0 record) and in the firs game of the day Zack Abuan launched a line drive into the right CF seas at Yankee stadium for a solo HR. In the bottom of the fifth with the Rangers leading 10 - 3 Kevin Kramer hit long fly to the CF bleachers for a grand slam to CF end the game (due to run rule). It capped a 8-run inning. The win moved the Ranges ino the semi-finals.
The Elk Grove Bulldogs were leading 9 - 4 in the sixth when the Rangers mounted a come-from-behind rally, winning 10 - 9.
We lost in the championship game but it was a great weekend. Lots of good D and great hitting. Jose Lopez and John Ford both pitched gems on Saturday as did Abuan on Sunday.

The Rangers had a fantastic come from behind Win on Sunday. I know a lot of teams that would have just folded but you guy's hung in there and kept on fighting. Big shout out to Kevin and Zach for some big bombs on Sunday.....
Great Job Rangers

Thanks, it was fun.
Chris, I can't find the distances but the BLD site syas they are 75% of the actual parks. CF at Yankee stadium is about 400 feet so that would put BLD at 300 os thereabouts. They were both sweet, majestic shots. Kev's a bit more arching, Zack's more of a line drive... both no doubters.

Bombers went 0-3. Too many errors. Pitchers pitched well all 3 games but bad defense all weekend. Also left bases loaded or 2 runners on in about 6 or 7 innings out of 17 innings played. Congrats to Rangers for second place finish.
Regulators went 0-2-1.
