Congrats to the Backyard Boyz. They had a great run, and shows that this area has a lot of talent. Good Luck to all of the travel ball teams from our area.
Regarding the Stars, you gotta do what you gotta do.

BYB finished with a 7-1 record and number 4 seed it was a great experience for the kids but it is good for a one time shot I do not think I would do it again the Hall of Fame was great and as far as the competition it was about like around here but make sure you bring plenty of pitching because of the heat and humidity it takes its toll as far as the Stars they are a team to deal with they have excellent hitting and defense the pitching is not that dominant but they are a very good team.BYB made a statement and believe me they know who we are now and we were personally invited back by the owner of the Cooperstown Dreams Park Mr. Lou Persutti he says he expects to here alot more about BYB and expects to see us back the Boyz received very nice Hall of Fame Rings and now we have kids from the central valley that are inducted into American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. Chris if the Rangers are interested I have received my paper work for next year already and BYB will not be going because we will only be 11 and they only except 10's and 12's.

That is awesome ;D. I am glad the kids played very well. That experience will stay with them for a lifetime. That's cool they got inducted. That had to be a highlight. Great job Boyz and good luck the rest of your season.
