Scully is in a class by himself. He knows how to capture the moment. Very eloquent gent. He should have won a best supporting actor award for his performance in For the Love of the Game.
Mel Allen was good, too - but Scully was, is and always will be the best.

1) Vin Scully; 2) Don Drysdale; 3) Ross Porter. (Ok, a slight Dodger bias).
While Scully is clearly the master, nothing beat "Big D" telling stories about how it was done back in his day.

I remember watching Ross Porter when he was the sports guy for channel 2... or was it 4 or 7? Too many years ago. I forgot about Drysdale - he was good!

The best 3 1. Jack Buck 2. Harry Carey 3. Mike Krukow
The worst 3 1. Skip Carey 2. Ray Fosse 3. Jeff Brantley
Honorable mention: Rex Hudler is always entertaining and for football I miss watching Dennis Miller totally rip Dan Fouts on MNF.

Wow..Welcome back Joe. Way to much Dodger love going on here. Another really bad one in Baseball only was Bill King. He was great in football and basketball but I think baseball was to slow for him.
