All of the above and hard as a rock on top and muddy underneath. I'm hoping we can just rip a couple of inches off the top and drag it. But I would like some more advice.

Jim....usally when you work with WET dirt it will PACK, perhaps what needs to be done is to loosen the top 2-3 inches and drag the surface to fill in the ruts.
Give me a call at home 632-1747

Jim - Soderquist has always had too much crushed brick. It needs a better mix of 70/30.

I'm in the middle of another investigation, I can't worry about a fence.
Chris: You looked like Tanner from the "Bad News Bears".
Randy: Great story.....too bad they are few and far between.
Mel: As a 9 year old and my first year in the majors, I never complained about the wool.....I loved every minute I wore that uniform. My LL experience was one that I'll remember forever thanks to people like Lema, Cooper, Black, Hockenberry, Bullock and even Salazar.

IT LOOKS LIKE THE CITY IS GOING TO HELP US OUT AT SODERQUEST. THEY ARE WILLING TO LEVEL THE FIELD AND HELP GET INTO TO SHAPE. ALL THEY HAVE REQUESTED IS THAT WE PROVIDE A COUPLE OF GUYS TO HELP THEM ON TUESDAY MORNING (2-20-07) @ 7:00 AM. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A SHOVEL TO MOVE THE DIRT THAT THE SCRAPPER LEAVES AT THE EDGES, IT SHOULDN'T BE MUCH. THE CITY BELIEVES IT CAN BE DONE IN 5 HOURS. IF YOU CAN HELP OUT IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY THE WHOLE TIME, AS LONG AS THERE IS SOMEONE THERE TO HELP. HELL GREENIE MIGHT EVEN THROW IN LUNCH.

Keith,
This is Coop (A/AE). Do you still need some help Tuesday morning at Soderquist? I have taken a couple more days off through some issues at work. So I am off Tuesday and Wednesday. Using a shovel is what most TID employees do best. One guy leaning on the shovel and five guys standing around him. My case is running away from my customers. That is why I am taking the days off. Seriously, we are all a Little League family here in Turlock. I know that the forum is good for those who wish to express themselves with teasing their friends and there are those who get on the forum (such as myself) to see what is going on through out all the leagues as well. I know that it is all in fun and educational for most. I don't have children in the program and our son is grown up with his family, so I have more time than most of you who have children playing. The season is almost here and everyone is excited for it to start and for the inter-league to kick off. It will be fun for all. I am also working with our field person at maybe developing our maching pitch program at putting in a field behind the right field fence. The school is in the process of redeveloping the school grounds on the east side.
I will be there to help out with what I can. Is there anything that I need to bring? If needed you call me at 606-Coop. I will out of town today in the Fresno area.
Have a good week-end,
Coop
