I just ran the numbers assuming the the N/NS adds 4 teams like they have talked about. It looks like we could get all games in by 6/7/08 with a few changes... 1- We play during spring break 2- We Add 1 time slot on Sat.. So we play at 3:30/5:30/7:30 3- Rain Makes ups are played as time allows ie: Sunday maybe 4- A/AE would only play within their own league 2X's and work out a tie breaker if needed. Not sure what the N/NS do ?
Would love to have any POSITIVE Thoughts ?

Hey Randy:
If N/NS add 4 teams, that will will give us 12 total. If we play our league twice, that will give us 22 games. If you add A/AE, that would give National 30 games.
If National adds three teams, that will give us eight. Our division would play each other twice and give us 14 games and then have to play everybody once. That would be an additional 12 games and up it to 26.
If I did the Math right option 2 would probably be feasible for us. Now, we just have to wait and see the numbers.

I'm in!! ;D ;D. Let's do it. Our league will need to play more games, just so we can get some team chemistry going.

just something of thought? why are league champions crowned on overall records?
if i had a team i would want league champion to be based on LEAGUE GAMES.
i would love it if my non league games were scheduled against the best teams out there, especially if my fellow league teams were matched against easy teams.
maybe im think wierd but i just think that if i am national south i want my record against other national south teams to reflect who is the national south champion.
league is where everything counts. nation, national south, american, and american east are all SEPARATE leagues and what one league does against another shouldNOT matter in the final standings.......

Mark, League champions are based on their division record not over all record. Then we take the top 2 teams from every league and play a double elimination tourney for the city championship.

I thought we used overall records for the League Championship and City Tournaments. Or was that just for seeding.
Whatever we used, I think this year, it will be your league record for the teams to go to the tournament. (i.e. National 14 game record with National Teams that will decide the two teams for the Tournament.) Third place teams go to the TOC. Is that how we are going to do it?

randy
national and national south used to use overall records (22 games) to determine each league champion
if they arent using that method any more that would be great

Last year we used league record)A/AE) to determine who was in the city tourney and then we used overall record for the seeding 1-8... Thats how the Padres ended up 2nd seed we had the same loses as the Yankees but they played 1 extra game so thier win % was a little better (Even that we beat them in regular season)
