How do they work (3 teams) and when will they be played. Anyone ever see both divisions have a three team tie for a half. Was that you Chris at church this morning?

And how is it decided which of the three teams gets a first round bye in the tie-breaker play-offs??? Interesting dilemma!

I heard this a while back. I do know if it is correct If the three teams are tied, then the Dodgers and Giants would either play out there tie game/ or coin flip and the winner would take on the Cards for the second half.
Then if either the Dodgers or Giants would beat the Cards for the second half they would meet again for the League Championship.

That tie game was in the first half so it wouldn't come into play here. I think what you're talking about is for next years draft. My unbiased view would have the Dodgers getting the bye based on better head to head records in the 2nd. half. Plus you add a board member on the staff (I hope he remembers which way to vote this time!!!) And it all adds up to a Dodger bye.. We should have no problem with the Yanks.... oops wrong thread

I don't think it'll be a three-way greenie so don't get your hopes up...We're talking playoff not your bedroom preferences. Anyhoo, if it were to happen (doubtful) each team would play each other no bye as faras I remember.

Thanks Chris..I need a partner, do you know "who's on first"?
Seriously.. This has been a lot of fun for me. It's been a tough last couple of months with the passing of my mom and she was little G biggest fan.. So doing this takes my mind (put your jokes here) off of the sad part of life and plus I've made some new friends ;D
My hat goes off to you bro.. The website and this forum are great..Too bad all the teams cant get more involved in running their sites.. It doesn't take that much time and with all the looky-loos around here there are plenty of people who can do this..

I cant wait until Saturday when the MIB will be back in the race. the Braves are gonna be fired up, because they know they ran into a hot Yankees team that will dispatch the boys in Blue.
It ain't over til its over. See ya at the yard ;D
