Jamie's memory is a bit fuzzy and I don't recall her ever being at a game... and I WOULD have remembered her being in the stands

I like Byrds Nest the best. Can we get a plaque in place as well?? Man now I am really getting excited!!! Is there anyway we can raise the fence a little higher at Julien? After my back surgery the existing fence is about a foot low for me to lean on. Or since the outside bench for coach's is not in use maybe I can stretch out on one of them during the game?

Craig: I think Tony is rubbing off on you...."Fance", now that you have the southern slang down maybe your Rangers can start winning some more tourny's.

Mighty big talk from a fledgling coach who had yet to win ONE!

As Herm Edwards once said,"You play to win the game". It will happen soon Craig. Just sit back and watch.....don't talk....just watch. Tony and myself will show you the ropes. BTW- we have already gone over my resume......you got me on years but I've outdone you on results. Combined with Tony who has a national championship under his belt you are suffering from "baseball envy". A great jockey will still pick the best horse in the stable, you are still looking for the old nag that is headed for the glue factory. Old school is not going to get the job done nowadays.

Mike, Mike, Mike... You're always ridiing on the coat tails of someone better than yourself - whether it be me, Tony, or Soares. Outside of the Fall Bawl Championship you got nothin'! I seem to remember you had a go w/ a 10U team and you occasionally got to the dance but never got out of your seat. And just what the hell is a national championship anyway? Don't they have those about once a week in the summer? It's not exactly the BCS now is it? Keep popping off and that little 10 seconds of glory you had 11 years ago that you now call a son will find his @zz & his gapped tooth grin on the bench!

Craig Craig Craig, you have proven all those people wrong when they said you were too competitive. If you put Trevor on the bench you obviously want to lose. That's o.k., I can then tell him that it was your fault when the team loses.LOL I just keep looking smarter in the eyes of the "Real" baseball minds.
Chris: Kelly Leak had the worst combover I've ever seen. I would have to be the mouthy pitcher when they went to the Astrodome and Craig makes a perfect Rudy Stien.

You've got a point Mike. Trevor is a talented little guy. Have you had his DNA checked? He obviously didn't inherit his gift for baseball from you. He doesn't look like you either. It's starting to all add up now!

Bryd: Your sarcasm regarding Fall Ball was bad enough but then you go and admit to playing for my LL nemesis Richland Mkt. Was that before Mario Godinez?

LOL.....Gman has played fall ball the last 3 years. The program is good. The teams are unfair but AB's and extra innings on the hill are why we are there. I was a member of Richland Mkt for the 68,69 and 70 seasons. In 69 we won the district in All-Stars and came close to winning the sections. Those were all fond memories and just this past season at one of Gmans LL games my father gave me my team photo from the 68 season. Not one kid on the team had cleats or a matching belt. We were all little poor okie kids that LOVED to play baseball and wore our Converse tennis shoes. We had two wooden bats per team back in those days. If you broke one you were down to 1. It was like a mixture of Bad News Bears and The Sandlot. Oh to be young again....LOL....
