Man-oh-man, last year I must have really had my head in the sand. There is so much drama going on this year with some teams that its almost unbelievable. I sure hope things settle down soon.

I think it's going to get worse if things don't change really soon.

I take a couple of weeks off and all hell breaks loose? It's nice to see that even without me or Murphy out there things are still the same.
Greenie: The Cubbies won't be distracted by you bringing Crash's high school sweetheart out to the game. You better go with plan "B".........Renee.

Renee and Chad are a little pissed at me. I forgot to tell them that I didn't receive a phone call that the Renegades flaked out last weekend.(did that make sense ) Anyways they spent Saturday at Rainbow looking for us.

I say cancel little league and move on to bigger and better things. JJK As long as there are people and politics involved it will always be that way and believe me it is not just in Turlock. That is why I say it should be a rule that once the kids take the field they belong to the coach and if the parents get invovled there should be consequences. But because human nature is involved and not is what is best for the players you will always have drama. One more advantage of travel ball is,if the kid or the parents are trouble makers you can always tell them they are not a fit and good luck somewhere else. It is so nice to just be able to go to the games and not worry about your kid being over used or not getting enough playing time and last but not least just practicing once a week. It is so much more fun to sit back and watch these people make fools of theirselves because of foolish pride or because of what position they hold on the board. We have all seen the unjustice of this year before it started and to have a team in the major leagues that would have a hard time winning in the minors. But the question is when will it ever get back to doing what is in the best interest of the players and not the adults. Hats of to Crash,Essray and Voumard the guys that have been there through thick and thin and I can honestly say they do care more about the kids than what the adults have to say.

Thanks Tony. Several years ago, before my kids were in Little League, a parent told me they were so glad their kid was finnaly out of it b/c he was sick of the politics. I chuckled to myself thinking how could there possibly be that much politics in LL? I thought he was crazy... but I was just naive.
Fortunately, for the most part, the kids are sheltered from the politics and most still manage to have fun.

Who do the Dodgers have pitching tonight against the Cubs? I've seen Lopes throw 3 or 4 times this year, it might be Mendes or Sniezek's turn in the rotation. The Cubs might throw Trainor or Backland.

We seemed to have turned into a 1 man rotation lately. I'm just a little pee-on assistant who's knowledge is not needed but If you want my opinion I say start Kha but thats not going to happen.
