League races are starting to play out. The Padres and Yankees have things pretty well sewn up for the number 1 spot in their leagues.
There is a real battle going on in AE for the 2 spot in the tourney and both American and National appear to be in a horse race for the 1st and 2nd.
Let's have some predicitions. Who will finish where in each of the four leagues?
AE Padres - 1 (walking away) AE Cubs - 2 (gotta show they want it) or Yankees (depends on how many starts S-J gets)
NS - Yanks - 1 (duh) NS - Angels - 2 (by default)
AM - Red Sox - 1 (by a whisker but they'll need to split with the O's) AM - Orioles - 2 (They have the Ntnl Dodgers left to play and appear to have a bit tougher schedule at the end)
NTNL - Giants - 1 (gotta pull for the MIB despite games left with the Cubs, NS Yanks, AE Yanks and Ntnl Dodgers) NTNL - Dodgers - 2 (I know it could easily be the Dodgers but I gotta stay positive).

Any team but Greenies the last thing I want is to hear how the Dodgers won it all 6 months from now like we have to hear how the Vikings won the super bowl in the middle of baseball season. ;D

The Dodgers eliminated the Nationals last night from the tourney. The AM Dodgers are out as well. A couple of more teams should be out by the end of the week.
