LITTLE LEAGUE SCORING AND YOU HAVE THE MOTHER OF THE KID WHO HIT THE BALL GIVING HIM THE HIT. I ALSO HEARD THAT SAME KID HAS A INSIDE THE PARK HOMER AT JULIEN OFFICIALLY THAT HE GOT CREDIT FOR. YOU KNOW YOU CAN INFLATE A KIDS AVERAGE VERY EASILY IN LITTLE LEAGUE, BUT WHO CARE ITS ONLY LITTLE LEAGUE. THE "1" HIT OR NOT WILL NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THE GAME ZACH AND NICK PITCHED. A NO-NO IS STILL A NO HITTER BY 1 PITCHER OR 3 PITCHERS IT DOES NOT MATTER.

LOL Hauser - The two umps after the game Cooper and Anderson said it was a hit. Your right it doesn't matter but it does seem that you like picking fights. In terms of scoring a no-no it does matter - duh!

An error on who? I was at the same game and Lopes clearly beat the throw on an infield hit.

Also, if we're counting inside the park HR's on the tally page, Zach O hit one at Julien and he only has credit for the one he hit at Soderquist.

Still looked like an infield hit to me. Saw a similar hit on Friday night and was told it was an infield hit even though it bounced off an infielder and the kid out ran the throw from the kid it rolled to. It was just a hard hit ball and it was scored as an infield base hit.

When a Pitcher has a NO-NO going in the last inning the first hit must be clean. That was not a clean hit. As for the inside the park HR. I guess if you don't count the overthrow to the cut-off man as an error, it must be one. We all know stats at the level are B.S. anyways.

JMO.....The only true HR is one that leaves the park via the bat with some air under it.

Got it Greenie I agree with the HR being the one that clears the fence as far as the HR race goes.

I just post out of the park HR. That's the only way to prevent the error type HR.

Oh Bummer, but when you're winning 68-0 all the time, I guess you can afford to give up 1 hit!
