Man, I can't wait for the baseball games to begin. I got the itch and I got it bad! No Knezme, it's not the clap... I have a feeling it's gonna be a great year. There's a lot of positive energy about inter-league. It will be a blast finally playing against friends from across town like Essary and Lopes and Voumard and Serpa. It will be great for the kids who don't already know one another to meet the boys from 'cross town. We'll also find out whose snack bar is really better. Chris, I throw this challenge out to you... keep a graph of which field yields the most dingers. That'd be fun. Of course whenever Jens is throwing you know that'll skew the tally at whichever field he's at JK bro - I hope he has a great, fun and memorable year. My hats off to all who made this possible. It's gonna be a blast! I do have to admit I will break one Little League rule this year. I will talk to the other team. Several of the players are my former players or friends of my kids - and even if they aren't I'll give 'em a high five when they take one deep or make a good play - or at least yell "nice play" out to them. If I get ejected for that, so be it

I agree Crash. This will be a great year. There is a lot of talent that is out there and I think both leagues are loaded.

Craig: Kenny wants to know when you talk to the other teams....if they have to take a knee also. BTW-I have been working on my Cubs broadcasting skills.....no matter how hard I try to do the Harry Carey it always comes out like Shelly Hurd.....close enough I guess.

FLMAO.............Too funny !!
Makes you want to get drunk and fall to your knees................
I will say I am going to miss LL. The last five years has been alot of fun. I know Zach will never forget his LL years here in Turlock. LL is an awesome organization. It helps mold our sons (and daughters) into better men (and woman).
Good luck to all in whats going to be a great year of baseball.

We are also JAZZED about interleague play. Thanks to all who spent countless hours behind the scenes working to make this happen. As Craig pointed out... the FUN will be in playing against our friends. I cannot think of a single A/AE team where we will not know some of the players/coaches...And YES when Brett or Austin or Darren.. or anyone else goes YARD or makes that WOW DID YOU SEE THAT PLAY...I'll be there with the ATA BOYS...
Lets play ball........

O.K., one last time for me to brag about my coaching ability before LL starts.........If anyone can match or top my 13-0 Benchwarmer record, I'll pay for a pizza party for that team. If not I get to keep talking about it. The '72 Dolphins and '06 Benchwarmers have the champagne on ice......who's up for the challenge? BTW- ns/Yankees and ae/Padres must go 20-0 to get credit, everyone else just has to get to 13-0. I might be crazy but I'm not stupid.

Just the Renegades in travel ball. Trevor gets to play for Craig in LL. We have different philosophies when it comes to coaching.....I think you can have fun, develope talent and win at the same time. Craig just wants to develope marginal role players at the h.s. level. It has been said over and over that LL should be fun and it shouldn't be competitive, well I agree with the fun part of that. I still think it is fun being competitive but I'm not a liberal so what do I know. I like the idea of Trevor playing for different coaches now so when he gets to h.s. he won't be looking for daddy in the stands wondering what to do. I actually think for the LL level that there are some good coaches out there and Craig is one of them even though I give him crap for it. I strongly believe to prep kids for h.s. that hitting and pitching lesson's are important but so is playing for various different coaches, which at this level is the most overlooked.

Cajubn food? For cryin' out loud has Kenny affected everyone's spelling? We've seen you eat, that is a religeous experience. Aligator tail? Now I know why you never played the "fooseball" Bobby Boucher'. You were always the waterboy.

I would like to thank all the managers and coaches for last night. It was a great start to this years Interleague season, we will have the schedule for Interleague ready for all on Feb 28th. This will give Chris time to get it posted on the Web as I can tell you is no easy task. I am a rookie at this web thing and it takes some work. For the A/AE teams I will have copies of the complete 2007 schedule ready at Julien on Wed the 28th around 7pm if you would like to stop by and get one or you can call me on Thursday 401-8417 Once again Thank You
