That is part of the problem the A/AE has had all year instead of people trying to work together it is all about how much drama we can cause. This is another instance in which it is all about look at what I can do instead of worrying about what is best for the kids. Loosing the charter would that be a bad thing Cal Ripken is just a phone call away. Another prime example of why we are loosing kids and volunteers from the little league program to much drama and not enough focus on the program.

Randy, Work with the critical mass that is on board. I think the A and AE Side have worked realitively well this year as has N and NS. Need to thank Shelly for the info. Now you can take corrective action. Good luck with modifying the constitution for earlier elections. It really does work best in this format as Field Prep Items, Planning for Fall Ball Efforts, and the 2008 Season really need to start now. N and NS remember if we can begin discussion with the City as they put together their budget: (1) they might be able to kick in some capital to projects, (2) should be able to plan at the very least manpower at a pro-bono rate, (3) strengthen annual relationships in support of a future sport complex. I would recommend combine planning with the City and a Comprehensive Presentation to the City Council. Make sure you thank Parks and Rec and all those guys that helped with park improvements this year.

you people think randy did everything for the AM league you guys are crazy.I coached in the minors and never saw randy anywhere.Go ask some of the machine pitch teams and they will say the same. The league should be run by someone who wants to help everyone instead of just the league his kid plays. Our board works hard and should get credit for it.Tony has no right to criticize anyone he had his chance and scewed up everything. He left the league with little money left and alot of unanswered questions. Our new board comes in with the little money that was left and did major improvements in many different areas and still there is more money than before.WAY MORE MONEY!Saturday was a great day at julien and where was randy no where to be seen he said it couldnt be done properly he is the ASS.But you guys only hear his side and you guys go right along and take his side. That is really really sad because there are alot of hard working people trying to make everything right.chris i hope you dont ban me again from your forum for speaking the truth about your baseball buddies. allen padilla

I won't ban you as long as you don't threaten anyone. Yes, the only people we could get a hold of this year from an interleague persepective were Randy and John Temple. You can only judge things from what you see. Why should Randy be at the Minor and machine pitch games? It wasn't his role on the board was it? I didn't see anyone beside some board members who were also coaches at the games I attended.
We'd go over to Julien to play a game and would have to jump the fence because the gates were locked. The field was always dried out and looked terrible all year. I don't know who was in charge of the fields but who ever it was did a lousy job. Even the during the City Championship it was the managers prepping the field.
Things did look better for all stars. It wouldhave been nice to have put some effort into the field during the regular season.
Randy and a very few others deserve the credit for the success of interleague.

Exactly my point there was more than just randy working on the BOD.

Exactly my point there was more than just randy working on the BOD. Allen... You are exactly right the other board members that showed up did a great job!!!!! Robin, Kay, John Temple, Dan, Nick and Bob did a great job for as little help as they had. And I'm sorry that I was not at ALL the minors and machine pitch games. I was simple a phone call away if you had issues like many a coach found out on both sides of the fence... For you to say I only took care of the East tells me how little you was involved in the league... I remember 2 things about you helping 1-During the City Championship you said you would be there all day to help..YOU left after your sons game and was no where to be seen the rest of the day 2-The several times the teams had to prep the fields that I believe you was going to prep ? Everyone is entitled to there opinion and if they want to make changes step up and be counted...but if you step up show up

!Saturday was a great day at julien and where was randy no where to be seen he said it couldnt be done properly he is the ASS.. allen padilla Sorry I have to respond to this one with a little attitude!!!! Allen, I was over at Soderquist watching 4 other Turlock teams play, its hard to be in 2 places at one time..But fear not my daughter was there at Julien from 12 noon to the end of the day working in the snack bar..So even when I can not be there my family is willing to step up and help...

Allen you are just like the Turlock Journal stating things before you have your facts. All the false statements that were made about me I never once had any of you guys to aaproach me to get the facts but what else is new. I do not know you or have I ever had any dealings with you but you have the right to your opinion and for that all I can say is thank you. The statements made were what people seen with their own eyes as far as reguarding Randy and the rest of the board. But just like you and your statements made today people are entitled to their opinion. You were not a board member when I was there or do I know if you ever have been so I will take your statements with a grain of salt. Anyway the league survived this year and for the board memebers that made it happen who ever they were you guys did a great job and as you can see by what is being said no matter how hard you work there will always be somebody that will crucify you for what ever you do. I guess since I left the league in such horrible shape as I have been accused of I must be loaded with money but not once did anyone of these people approach me about this issue but it does not surprise me because whoever sits in that chair will be accused of doing something wrong or either you have someone on the outside telling everyone they could have done better. Oh well good luck guys I will be here for moral support because I have done so much wrong I guess I can not step up anymore to help the leagues for what it is worth. Also Allen best of luck to you and your position on the board what ever it is because beleive me you will not make everybody happy whatever position you hold. To all board members this year for what it is worth you guys did a great job making it fun for the kids and that is what it is all about. Not holding personal vendettas against certain parents or coaches. GO PHILLIES.

Tony "opinions are like . . ." Well you know. Hang in there. Not everyone holds Allen's opinion. You helped out by umpiring some critical games. You could have said, "Screw you guys" but instead you stepped up for the kids. Many thanks for putting the kids ahead of the petty politics.

Congratulations to all the players who have made the All Star teams. As for the brackets with Turlock facing Turlock that is something that can be changed, not that it is going to help out for this year. With the district, that is why there is a staff. It is there to help out with issues like this to proof read and help out with. That is something I am sure will be changed for the future. It is great to see so much interest with the All Stars and the teams kicking it off. I think that we need to give all those who are working the tournaments: directors, concession, grounds crews and etc. a big pat on the back for stepping up to make this work. Most of you who are parents and it is great to see you helping your child and his friends to this together and making it work. Turlock has many teams with the All Stars and many home games. It take alot of people to make it work. GOOD JOB PEOPLE.
As for Randy/Shelly/Allen issues; people all three of these gentlemen are good people with good intentions. With the board being short handed this year, I am sure that it was extremely difficult to handle or get through some of the problem issues. Great job for those who keep the program afloat. Even though their are different opinions about some of these issues, I think that we need to thank Shelly and his wife for stepping forward for taking the bull by the horns and getting the paper work done for the All Stars and being tournament director at both fields; Julien and Pedretti. There are still alot of games left. Lets stay together and put our differences aside so we can finish out the All Stars and keep in mind with how can we make this better for the future. Randy, I know that you had a full plate this year. Great job that you did even though it was tough at times. And Allen working the field is never an easy task. Good efforts and good job for the time you have put in. As stated on a couple of other post great job to the other board members to keep things going for the program and the players.
