I think that the little leagues should get a piece of the pie. Like the NCAA does for March Madness and the bowl games.
A lot of the leagues need help with facilities and that could go a long way.
I know some programs don't need it, but the majority of the leagues are at field like Soderquist or Julien.
Just a thought. I know there will be some only the rich get richer. But some other source of funds is necessary to make the facilities better.

Most fields are worse... A lot of the players from out of the area have been overheard to make comments about Julien like, "Wow! You get to play in this field all the time???"
If ya think ours are bad, and they could be improved a bit I agree, then take a look at Ballicos or some of the others. Chowcilla's lights aren't much better than handing each player a flashlight and telling 'em to have at it!

I have to say this in defense of our fields. We all would like to have our fields look better. But to be honest, RP has the best, but we are then in the top 5 fields in the district. Sanger's had a dip right at home plate so that it is mostly a mud bowl around home plate with just a smidgen of water. It all runs there since it is a low spot. And think of LB, Chowchilla, Atwaters at the base, I mean most of the leagues have worse fields then us. The sad thing is that a lot of leagues don't want to make their fields any better. Thankfully the people involved here in Turlock, want the best, and do not mind working to get it. All of you guys that go that extra mile to fix up the fields for the players, give your self a pat on the back.
Thank you for this dedication from Me
