Do they know who they are yet? I'm sure the tie between the MIB and Dodgers didn't help

Good point....how will they determine who coaches what? Cards coaches I would think get the 11-12's?? With the exact standings between MIB and BIB because of a tie that was not played off now what? Playoff game or coin flip?? The drama continues.............gl to all those involved.

We're probably going to either flip or play it off for the draft implications.
My preference would be a pie eating contest. I think I can take Matt in that one

Good point. Mince Meat pie?? YUMMY!!! I did not even realize the importance of those standings toward the draft. I think a playoff would be more exciting then a coin flip. But coin flips have decided many outcomes over the years. GL!! If it comes down to the pie eating contest I take Matt....those Little guys can eat all day and not gain a pound. Look at the Japanese guy who rules the world of Hot Dog eating. Keboshi or Kelbasa?? what ever his name is.

So true Byrd.. Plus you have to deal with the thong getting stuck. I'm sure that would slow Chris down.. Well maybe not..

In the not so old days, the first place team got the 11-12. the second place team got the 11s and third place team got the 9-10. Is it only managers or the whole staff. For example would it Mr. Keaton and one of his coaches or would it be Mr. Keaton and Mr. Lopes. or Mr. Keaton and Mr. Essary. How do they decide that.

One issue this year that has me bothered is that NUMBER of COACHES allowed in the dugout, is driven by the NUMBER of players on the roster 12= 1 Coach 13= 2 Coaches

How did they come up with that ratio. You should have at least one adult in the dugout when the kids are hitting. That doesn't make sense.

Just for the record, last year was the first year for the 11 year old team. I managed and Matt was one of the coaches.

if it is still the same as in years past, my understanding is that the MANAGER is the Manager from the 1st place team , if he doesnt want it then it goes to the second place team on so on. if some1 doesnt take it then it is offered to COACHES on the 1st place team and kicked down more if needed.
and the MANAGER has the right to CHOOSE his OWN coaching staff as long as they were OFFICIAL coaches during the regular season and listed as such of the OFFICIAL ROSTERS that were sent to Williamsport

Yep, your memory is correct even at your old age. Don't forget the ground rules state the AS manager is subject to BOD approval.
