I GUESS I JUST BOUGHT MY LAST TURLOCK JOURNAL. THE ARTICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT THE PARENT, NOT THE PLAYER. POOR TASTE...

WOW!!!!! I just got a chance to read the paper and I'm sorry it was not only out of line but the facts are not correct... The 11 yr old that the paper was talking about was asked to be on the 11yr old AS team and he declined. This artical did nothing but hurt Little League and ONE family, it looks like a personal attack and thats BS....

It wouldn't be the first time the Journal screwed things up. They all but gave the name of the kid. He said all along where his first priority was and that was travel ball. People need to get off his leg and let it go. I'm the first one to say that with him the 11 year old A/E all-star team would be dominant but without him we are still pretty fricken solid. I might be pissed if he showed up to play for River Park.LOL

ok guys I have sit back and read this BS. As you all know this kid is like a part of my family and I would like to personally ask that the parent on the Padres come to me face to face and say these things to my face about this 11 yr old. We all know who on the Padres works for the Turlock Journal and to think he would stoop this low and talk sh-t about an 11 yr old is stupid. Mr. Sha if you need to grow a set just let me know and I will be man enough to face you face to face about this kid. He does not think he is better than anybody in this league. What ever the dad says is his business and if you have a problem with that go to the dad do not go public and try to humiliate an 11 yr old. Everyone raises their kid different. You need to grow up big boy and I am not scared to let you know who I am and if you need to talk to me face to face you can call me. 345-7946. This kid is a great kid and this idiot needs to be a man and talk to the dad face to face. I have lost all respect for the Turlock Journal and what it stands for and if Mr. Shab has a problem with that call me big boy. As far as I am concern both of these guys are nothing but punks to publicy try and humiliate an 11 year old. By the way get your facts straight before you write an article about something you know sh-t about, especially an 11 yr old. The journal and Mr Shab can kiss my azz.

i dont know the kid, butg his older brother played for me last year and i got NOTHING BAD at all to say about him. and being that they are brothers i would imagine JG is pretty much the same (a great kid).
my take is if he chose not to play for WHATEVER REASON, that is HIS choice and people can not like or they can respect it. fact is it doesnt matter and they shouldnt go running like little girls to the paper talking ****.
that league from what i have heard i messed up big time and has ran a few pretty good players out of town. it may need an overhaul similar to the one NAT/NS underwent in 2002

I think with people like Randy Edwards involved the A/AE is headed in the right direction. Next year should start off as good as this year ended. I went from thinking that Trevor should bypass LL next year and focus on travel ball to wanting him to come back for his 12 year old year. Bottom line is that it's his decision and he wants to play. I'm thankful Randy, Nick P., Kay, John T. and Phil should be back. As well as the support of people like Lance, Duane, Coop and even Crash. LL seems to always have its ups and downs but always bounces back. I believe it's because of people like the ones I've mentioned and many others. The National side has the Lema's, Essary, Serpa and even Greenie made a huge difference. But ultimately it's the kids that make it happen. People need to find a positive in every situation, in the case of JG the kids on the A/E 11's will have to step up and not rely on one kid to do it for them. Missing lil' Bush for the first week is going to be a challenge as well. I'M NOT WORRIED, WE HAVE CRASH COACHING. LOOK WHAT HE DID FOR THE CUBS. IN CASE ANYONE MISSED IT.......HE TOOK THE UNDERDOGS WHERE NOBODY THOUGHT THEY COULD GO.......INCLUDING ME. That will be the only compliment I give Crash, within a week I'll be making fun of him again. Enjoy it while it lasts. As a Cubbie grandparent said,"He is the luckiest s.o.b. I've ever seen."
(BTW: I'm not making fun of Hauser or Gomes with the above caps, just making a sarcastic point about Crash)
