The National Junior team received a bye in the first round of the LL Divisional Tournament. They'll have all of their pitching available. Tomorrow they'll be playing at UOP if they win three apparently they will move on the Regionals in Oregon.
If that happens, things could tighten up financially for some of the players. I hope we can get something started to help out. If the Juniors move on I'd like to challenge everyone in the forum to kick in some cash to ease the way. They really won't have any time for a fund raiser. I'm pledging $100 and hoping some of you will match it or kick something in to help. Any amount will help out.
Don't forget your donation to LL is tax deductible.
Thanks everyone.

Agreed - I'm sure the league will help. As I understand it, LL will pay $1.00 per round trip mile for a trip to Oregon. Turlock to Beaver Creek is 1,344 miles round trip. Add that to the $90 due for reimbursement to Stockton the Little League International contribution is $1,434. Our local league should probably match that total. It would be great if we could raie another $1,000 to assure no player misses out do to their families inability to pay.
