The AE 10s wild ride is over. They were beating Riverpark by one run after 4 but lost the lead in the fifth and could never regain it. They finish their all star season with a 7 - 2 record. After winning their first game they lost the next one, kicking them into the losers bracket where they reeled off 6 straight wins, the last five in five days to get them to the District final. It was especially sweet to send the team that beat them (atwater) home by beating them twice in the Northern Division finals. The boys and their coaches (Rick Potter, Rick Evans & Randy Edwards) played with class throughout. Well done!

Definitely a scrappy lil bunch. I bet the kids are pooped. Brett was outstanding on the mound but too many errors behind him finally did in a great run. It was touching to see a certain 10 year old get his first tater and his dad run off the other field to congratulate him through the fence. Craig - I've never seen you move sooooooo fast.
Hats off to the AE 9/10s on a gutsy performance!

Yeah, that was a priceless moment. Tho I missed seeing it I was able to get there as he was coming back to the dugout and see the pure unadulterated joy on his face... and to hear him shreik "dad!" That's a moment I'll never forget. His brother's follow-up act put a nice punctuation on the evening. But I'd trade 'em both for a W and I know the boys would too. Maybe tomorrow...

Turlock should be PROUD ...these kids kids showed RP that baseball in Turlock is alive and well !!
They battled long and hard....CONGRATS to all the players, coaches & parents for a great Tourney.
P.S.- What a moment to remember when Bret went YARD...I looked up just to see a smile so big that it would hardly fit....as he rounded 3rd headed for home plate
