[glow=red,2,300]I would hope the Giants win but ya just never know. All you can do is go out and play hard. Swing the bat a run the bases smart. Good Luck Giants.[/glow]

CONGRATS to the Giants for winning the city championship game. Well played game and a fine finish to an outstanding season. Kevin pitched well and that catch in center was the game saver!! Awesome catch. Good luck to all of you in the All Stars.

that catch in center was the game saver!! Awesome catch. that was an MVP caliber catch. without that catch the game could have been very different

That was 10 year old Jacob G. Watch for him in the years to come. The "catch" probably saved at least 2 runs. I think the momentum would have shifted the other way and who knows it might have been "game over" for the Giants. I don't believe in giving out game balls and I haven't given one out all year. I figure every game is a "team" win or a "team" loss. However, I gave out two tonight. One went to Kevin and the other to Jacob. ;D Thanks Byrd - Now I can retire.

Chris I know your not going to retire bro. You enjoy being in the dugout to much. Kevin did throw a very nice game. He stayed in control and didnt try to over throw until the start of the last inning. Then he relaxed and got the job done in fine fashion. Jacob G. also made a very nice catch against the Angels in the playoff/TOC if I remember right. I would say the one he made last night saved at least 2 runs if not 3 and yes momentum swing could have been huge. I was surprised at the way the Red Sox ran themselves out of a few chances as well but maybe they felt they had to do those things because of the way Kevin was pitching. Regardless bro I am happy for you and the boys. Look forward to watching the All Stars now. I shall be in touch.

Thanks Brian. Fernandes made the catch against the Angels but Jacob contributed all year with key hits and plays.

i dont know, but if i had to guess, my guess would be that it will be Cardinals (National) vs. Cardinals (American) with the American League being the favorites. too much pitching and to much fire power with the bats

This just in...I'm hearing June 30th for the City game. Can't see a reason to even have a Senior game.

the A's will beat the Red Sox more than likely, only chance the red sox have in beating the A's in senior league is if the A's pitch their #3 pitcher (lol), which happened last year (when he was their #4)

Man if they throw their number 5 we're absoultely doomed....Its kinda sad. When I was playing Seniors back in 79-80 I think we had 10 teams in our league. Man, how things have changed.

yup people are slowly moving away from LL and other organizations that handcuff managers/coaches. yet these org dont understand that they need to make changes because they are driving away alote of their better players
