To all the coaches who have coached Zach (olsen) my son over the years from Tiny Tot baseball camp to playing for the Giant's these past 4 years! You have taken a young boy with an amazing desire for baseball and helped him mature and developed the skills needed for him to be the best team player possible. He honestly just loves the Sport and will miss soderquist greatly. You have made such a positive impact on his life and we cannot thank you enough! He will take these years at Soderquist with him and never forgot what you have done for him, Nor will we! Thank you again.. Maggie Gianesin:)

Maggie ~
Your post just made it all worthwhile. I was lucky enough to have had ZO on my team for the past three years. Not only is he one of the finest ball players I have ever seen more importantly he is one of the finest young men. He set a very high standard and deserves all the success he has enjoyed. His presence on our team was a great gift and anyone - anyone would find his presence on their team a blessing.
Little League is over for us but we'll share many memories of all the games played with all of the friends we've made these past few years. Things will change but the friendships will endure.

I couldn't agree more. I would add the Hills to your list. Steven was an absolute joy to have on the team. He worked hard, never complained and was always respectful. He enjoyed the success of his teammates and lead by example through his tenacious play. Thank you so much for your support through our all star run. Steven is an outstanding young man and as they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Thank you also for helping me build a TEAM and the comradre that existed for almost all of our players. You understood from the beginning that our efforts were about much more than just baseball and who plays where. It wasn't about any individual player but rather about building character.
What is most heartening to me was the fact that you showed me respect for my decisions as a manager even if you didn't always agree (who ever does?). I can't tell you how much that meant to me. Your friendship transcends baseball and perhaps the best thing that came out of the all star experience for Jenson and me was the wonderful new friendship we now share with the Hill family.

Absolutely,
Chris you had a tough road of navigation. But, then that is always the case in sports as boys become teens and Parents struggle with athletic reality. It has been a pleasure building the memories and learning to keep it all in perspective as a coach but most importantly as a parent.
I can say however, with great confidence that it has been our honor to play with and against so many wonderful kids and parents. Our AS National run was very memorable and the fitting great experience to end our play at Soderquist.

Boo hoo Boo hoo, All of this falling over each other, come on people. Lets get to the facts you guys are out of here ;D. It is about time, now my kid can get some playing time for crying out loud. ;D ;D. With all of that said, good luck to all of the twelves that are moving on next year. They will have a lot of memories that they will have forever. No-hitters, walk off jacks, great plays in the field and the likes. I must say on both sides of town, there were some great kids and parents. Just looking at this bunch of kids and hopefully they continue to play baseball, there is a lot of talent there to keep both high school stocked. To all the twelve year olds and there parents congratulations on making this year one hell of a year. I could name them all, but you know you are. I am looking forward to next year to continue to build on this year and make some more memories and dreams come true for the next set of 9-12 year olds. Just remember to write and stay in touch. We'll miss ya.

You're not kidding. I just hope we win a couple of games next year. I think the manager will need some serious help. ;D

Scrapper, I'd be careful when Chris passes the torch......it might be the thong.
Speaking of juniors, if half of the kids Rocko mentioned play next year, the junior program might bounce back. I thought I heard one of the junior all-star teams did pretty good this year. Maybe the quality is there just not the quantity.

In all seriousness, it was a great season (yea Giants for winning National division). Drew had a lot of fun playing against some of his buds he usually only gets to see during football season. Interleague play was a blast! Turlock should be a town united not divided and interleague helped remind us of that
