I heard the last of the LL All Stars lost tonight in Madera. It was a long season for these kids and after 5 months they're probably pooped. Congrats to Turlock for mount the only real challenge to RP. Perhaps all the travel teams that are forming will get us over the hump next year.
Good Night LL - its been a great year. TNLL's Elections areJuly 31st. I hope everyone that is eligible to vote shows up. The TNLL Board did a super jobs this year. Thanks to Ralph, David, Brad who seemed never to stopped working on behalf of the league.

It has been a great run for this group of AE 12s. They made it to the District finals all three years. Seven of the players were on the team each season. I wish for them that they could have gone on to the next level. But it's hard to compete against a program as large as Riverpark. 10 major teams, 31 minors - plus machine pitch and tee ball (or so I'm told). That's quite a well to draw from. Factor in the donation of millions of dollars, a support network featuring Fresno State and JCs, current and former pro players... and all stars that for the most part ALL play about nine months a year. A program like that is bound to succeed. For my part I have to say that they were a class act and play the game the way it should be played. They did not gloat or play dirty. If I have to get beat, they are the type of team I want as an opponent. Our kids have much to be proud of. They represent what Little League stands for. Thanks to all of you who made it out to our games and supported us. It was great to have friends from the three other leagues in our corner. It seems like yesterday that Ryan said his first word... "ball" naturally. Was his first year of minors really that long ago??? Tonight marks the beginning of the end of his childhood... Soon he'll be 13, start junior high and it's fast forward to adolescence. It's been fun, and I'd do it all again. For those of you who have another year left - enjoy it. Tomorrow will be here before you know it. There's a lot of good times ahead no doubt - but I know years from know we'll look back at this time as being something very special. Thanks to all who were a part of it. Thanks to all who make Little League possible. I think one of the best things we can do for our kids is to create great childhood memories and Little League is such a big part of that. His season just ended tonight and ya know what he wants to do tomorrow? "Dad can we go hitting all day? I want to hit from 8 in the morning until 8 at night!" While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I think we'll take the day off See y'all at the yard... just not tomorrow!

Turlock sent 3 team to D10 final against a GOLIATH and competed very well, all things considered. These players gave it all they had---and the memories will last for ever. I know how tired they must be, I can say from one FANS perception that watching these teams compete was BASEBALL HEAVEN....
No Loser's in any of these teams...
Hope everyone has a good Summer..and THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

I counted 37 minor league teams and 10 major league teams. They also have 14 T-Ball teams. That's a huge organizatioin for a "one league" organization. I believe that's more minor teams than all four of our leagues combined. Phew!

That is too bad that we couldn't pull one out against RP(The Program). But all of the teams should be very proud of their performances. To get to the District Finals is quite a feat especially a district as big as ours and to have three teams there is an outstanding accomplishment.
I wish all of the kids a great travel ball season and the coaches a well earned rest. All of you did the Turlock Baseball very proud.
It has been a great year! Hope to see all of you again next year for what will be another great year for Turlock Baseball.
