Good to hear that American/A East will have elections soon. At our last board meeting for the National/N South, there was support to explore the possibility of interleaguing between all 4 Leagues next year. I will be contacting the current president to see what level of interest AM/A. East has. I will be frank in that I am not sure a position will be made by an outgoing board. Further, I am not sure how to pull this off, but I think it would be a big positive in Turlock. Interleaguing even 3 to 4 games per teams would be awsome. Again, I suspect there will be different opinions on this, but I believe it is worth exploring.
If there is interest and support paperwork needs to be submitted early to allow this to happen.

PS: Best of luck with your Elections.

Just a thought on this... besides being a great way to bring Turlock together. It would be hard for all 4 leagues to play each other in 1 season so a few in the AE was tossing out some ideas about it and one that I thought would work is... The 1st year AE has inter-league with the National side and the American with the NS or what ever combo is decided on but mix it up ever year. I know the 1st question that is going to pop up is -what if one league is stronger then the other... O-Well its baseball the 2 best teams will go to the city championships etc. JMO lets bring all 4 leagues together

it doesnt matter if 1 league is stronger than than another as long as ALL teams in a given league that interleague with another league play each other an equal amount of times so that different teams from the SAME LEAGUE dont have an advantage over other teams in that SAME LEAGUE

Good feedback folks. I know there is alot involved in the option. However, more vibrant discussions will begin after the American/A.East Board is elected. In any case the goal fitting a fair schedule for all into 20+ game schedule. A challenge, but it would be great if it could be done.
Stay Tune.

I think its super the two boards are talking and perhaps beginning to work together. What a super thing. Kudos to both leagues for trying to make Little League more exciting, more competitive and in laying aside old differences.

Right on Chris! We need to kick some American and American East butt next year. ;D On a more serious note, I think all of the leagues should play each other. The other leagues have some good ballplayers and it is a shame that we haven't been able to bring the leagues together. I think the two board will work together. We are seeing the fruits of our labor. Three All-Star teams getting to the District Final. Travel Ball players bringing home the plastic. Turlock baseball is on the move in the right direction.

I think a schedule can be worked out where we play each league appropiately. We may not play each other the same amount of games, but it will be fair. It will help keep the interest up, plus also have all the kids involved city wide will be exciting.

This is great news. I am excited about the discussion and interest between the two boards on bring aspects of both leagues together. Perhaps we can coordinate the two boards to come together prior to season opening up. Let's work together to build continue to build GREAT BASEBALL in TURLOCK.
